Eva is wonderful. She truly loves and understands dogs and cares for the dogs that she looks after as though they are her own. Equally as impressive is her care for safety. Each morning, my dog wears an orange collar and scarf that Eva provides to all her dogs so that she can spot them in a crowd and if they are lost. Her collar provides her number so that she can be contacted.
She is punctual, careful and always happy to provide progress reports.
I feel very lucky that my dog is in such good hands.

Doggy Day Care specialists. I have used Eva and her people for day care for years. I use the pick up and drop off service and it really works for me. They pick up Charlie between 8-9:30ish Mon-Fri and they drop him off around 6-ish.... At drop off, they put down his dinner. I have a really busy work schedule and this arrangement has made it possible for me to keep a happy dog in NYC. Eva and Sofie are super nice as is Edith who has picked up my boy for last 5 years I think.... They are responsible and always inform me when there are issues such as kennel cough going around... or running late.... Charlie loves the place which is clear when I drop him off for boarding... he runs into play room and is gone in a heartbeat!! I hope they open up a place in Park Slope one of these days but if not... I will just stick with the Williamsburg location…
Long term happy client. I have been a client of Eva's and Sofia's for many years. They took care of my old man for the last two years of his life when he needed special care and patience. They were great; carrying him up and down stairs, expressing his bladder... They went above and beyone. Now they are taking care of my young and crazy pup, Rufus and I could not be happier!!! He goes for AM Play Group in Prospect Park, takes walks and goes to day care at their day care facility. I work alot and this service is keeping my young pup happy and calm!! Eva also helped with recall training when my dog is off leash and that was super helpful since I want to go hiking up state with my dog on weekends. I am lucky that I found Eva and her sister years ago to help with my pups!! Could not recommend them higher...…
Did a great job cat sitting. Allie from Eva's Play Pups watched my cats for two days while I went on vacation. I was worried, because it was so hot outside, and I wanted to make sure my cats have enough water and the litter was scooped and not smelly in the heat. Allie came and left notes both days letting us know that she came, and the services she provided. I would totally use Eva's again. Its always a little scary having someone new come into your house and take care of your pets while you're away, but I trust them and think they did a good job.…
so disappointed...... I took my dog there bc I read all those great reviews. I was sure everything would go well, but it turned out to be the let down of the year. First of all, the client orientation is horrible: I emailed them - no response, I called them and left a couple of messages - no response. I finally got to talk to somebody and we made an appointment to screen the dog. The guy who screened my dog was very nice and friendly and he seemed to enjoy what he was doing. We decided to board my dog for three days. When I picked him up, he had a pretty big open wound in his nose. I asked the guy there what happened and he told he "I dont know" in a kind of do-not-bother-me tone. Then somebody came and gave me an explanation and put some ointment on my dogs nose. I understand that things happen, especially when it comes to dogs: they play, they roll over, etc. What I do not understand is that nobody told me anything about my dog getting hurt: no explanation, not even "we are sorry we will try to avoid this in the future". The fact that they did not say anything to me not only bothered me but also made them appear like they were trying to hide it from me. After these 3 days there, my dog had stomach problems for more than 24 hours...I will not take my dog there again :-((((…
