Best Indian food ever!. I happen to love this restaurant. I take the train from sunset park just to eat

over here. The chicken Tikka was amazing. This place is way better then Gandhi Palace and curry Heights.

Decent food but INSANE wait for delivery!. This is pretty much the best Indian in the neighborhood, so we frequently order from there (the reason, as another poster commented, that there is never anyone in the restaurant is because everyone orders their food for delivery). The food is good, if sometimes inconsistent (occasionally we get an extremely over-sweet Chicken Tikka or watered down Saag), but the wait time is unreal. We've waited an hour and a half before for our food, and when it arrived it was close to cold. We continue to order every few weeks because when you want Indian, nothing else will do (and really, nothing else is around), but be warned. And never order for delivery when you're hungry!

the worst waiter i have ever had. The worst service ever!!! The biryani was uncooked the rice and potatoes were raw, when i mentioned this to the waiter he was very rude, said what was he was supposed to do. When I said that he should take it back he once again gave me attitude and raised his voice. Then when the dish came he slammed it on the table. I went to the manager and the waiter started yelling at me saying he knows my type that i complain. It was unreal, i will never ever step into the place again. Its horrible, the waiter should be fired, forget that the customer's right policy this guy doesnt even know how to be civil and human!!!

Delicious fresh indian. Been to a thousand indian restaurants before-- great ones, good ones, bad ones, ones that are good one day, bad the other days, ones that are supposed to be good, etc. This place is by far the tastiest -- and it's inexpensive! The ingredients, esp. the spices are strong & fresh and the taste of each dish is pretty much perfect. I'd like to say that their quality is up there with Surya-- maybe they are even better. They also have extremely friendly & efficient service. Don't be fool by their empty dining room-- it's probably because most patrons take-out-- so there are no crowds or long lines or loud chatter.

Great service and wonderful food. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this restaurant this weekend while we were looking for someplace else, and we were very happy for the detour. The food was excellent and inexpensive. But the real reason I am writing this review is because of the service. I accidently left my wallet on the table when we left and did not realize it until long after they closed. It was a long night hoping to find the wallet the next day, and as soon as they opened, we were there. Though the manager teased me mercilessly before he pulled it out from behind the bar, my wallet was there and fully intact. I could have kissed him. I know we will be back soon, and I hope that others may read this review and patronize an establishment run by a friendly and conscientious staff. They have my thanks!

I really like this place!. I have only had good experiences here...I think the food is delicious and it's cheap! The head waiter has always been very friendly and remembers me each time I go in. While I will say that the rice pudding leaves a lot to be desired, everything else is fab!

User review by lisabrown212. For some reason this place is always empty eventhough their food is great and resonably priced. Especially the $6.95 lunch which comes with an appetizer, soup, rice & entree. I recommend the chickpee sag.
