YummY!!!. I chose Beet just based on what it looked like from the sidewalk. I really liked it because of their tofu selection. The peanut sauce was to die for, and I consider myself a peanut sauce expert...most restaurants never give you enough sauce, and Beet was no different. However, when I asked for more sauce they brought a lot and didn't charge me for it...It was fantastic! Overall, this place is some good food, good price, and good decor. They don't serve beets at the table anymore like their website suggests...but whatever!

I perfer Thai Rice. I love the decor at Beet but the food is only average. The prices are only slightly higher than Thai Rice up the street and the food isn't as good. Beet's probably a better spot to take a date and linger over a meal, but if you're just looking for yummy Thai cuisine, Thai Rice is the way to go.

Excellent Beet. Awesome decor w/ nice lighten; delicious food ever. Beet Thai is definitely the place where I would recommand my friends to. I've been their regular customer since this place opened. They provide the best service to their customers with the yummy and excellent food. By the way, they've got the coolest water sink in their restroom. If you are not sure which restaurant has the best thai food, I suggest you to Beet Thai; fair price!

Great funky place. OK, so it was decorated by somebody with an ikea charge card, but thats ok. It was a very nice atmosphere, upbeat, not dark and gloomy like so many places are nowadays. Started with the fish cakes appetizer, it was a little tough, but not bad. Moved on to the curry chicken...boy was that good! Perfect amount of spice, and the curry was fantastic. For desert, i had the fried bananas, which were ok, and the key lime pie iced cream, which was really good. This place is a great value, even had a couple of drinks from the bar, which were insanely inexpensive, but not supurb. I would definetely be going back here.

horrible service, bland food. We went to this restaurant since it always seems full and got good reviews. Boy were we disappointed! We waited for 30 minutes after being seated to have our order taken, and that was after we asked that someone take our order! Then we had to remind the waitress about our drinks, neither of which were very complicated. The food was extremely bland and somewhat cold. Don't waste your time or money here.

Great food. Great prices. We love this place!. We have eaten here dozens and dozens of times (we used to live right around the corner, but still make the trip to eat there!) Their food is outstanding and I have never had a bad meal there. I don't know when everyone else went who said that they could not get seated, but I have never had a problem being seated there.... and have sometimes been the only customer in the restaurant. They have also been very nice about us bringing our baby with us.

Yes Yes Yes. Beet is great. Mango and Avocado salad is tasteful. I love live Jazz music especially Beat at Beet every other Saturday. Nice ambience. They offer the good food under $17.00. (Cheap food but good quality). Freindly service. Their special menu made Beet dominat from the other Thai restaurants in Slope.

No, no, no!. Tiny space, too RED for the size. The guy in the corner is screaming loudly in a ear to the sound of guitar. Food is not tasty at all. Famous in reviews Mango/Avocado salad is just pieces of mango with one small piece of avocado on the top. Pad Thai was too moist for my taste (sleezy) Fish was overfried. Nothing exciting overall...

Traditional Delicious THAI FOOD! =P. Beet Thai is the best place to be. I've heard about this restaurant from a friend of mine; with good food along the best service. Therefore, I went there last weekend with a group of friends. I could tell they have the best thai food in Park Slope, espeacially the lobster dish I had was so tasty and YUMMY! They have good prices though. Besides they provide good customers' satisfaction. There are "DJ's" and "Live Music" during weekends. I sure will visit again.

Not thrilling.... We had the pad thai which was a little slimey. The vegetable dumplings were good, but the spicy chicken was kind of bland. The service was very good, however.
