Beet is the best. We order from Beet at least once a week, the food is so tasty, especially the curries.

Still a good choice. I was looking for good Thai. I tried delivery from Beet Thai. It's not the most authentic Thai food I've ever had. But you can tell that care is taken and the quality of ingredients is high. The veggies are fresh and the meat is good. Not bad at these prices. I love their Curry Puff and Spicy Broad Noodle. Now I orderd from them twice a week.

Good... UNTIL LAST NIGHT!. Beet is a decent thai restaurant. We order from it all the time, usually the Currry Puffs and the Pad See Yu.

That is, until last night...

Inside of the Curry Puff I found a piece of twisted metal, like an inch-long section of wire. It was in my mouth and, fortunately, I felt it before I swallowed. Otherwise, it would have been not only disgusting, but also dangerous.

It goes without saying i won't order from that place again.

happy meal. Checked out Beet for the first time and was truly impressed. The spicy broad noodles is so good and the portions are quite large. It's also reasonably priced for the quality and taste.

Amazing Beet Thai Food!. Honestly, I think Beet Thai has the tastiest and most well prepared food among other thai places in Park Slope. With all those little decent decorations in each plate, I'm very impressed. I suppose uncooked and overcooked food happen in every restaurant, but we just have to give them a chance to make it right, especially in such a good quality thai restaurant. Overall, I believe they have fair prices with delicious food. They deserve better! =)

Frozen dumplings, average entrees.. My friend and I were really excited to try Beet for lunch after reading the reviews. Since it was bitter cold outside, I decided to start my meal with the shrimp dumpling soup. When it arrived, it looked very appetizing. I took a spoonful of broth..yum! I took a spoonful of broth and dumpling.....The shrimp was still frozen in the center!!! Totally inexcusable. The Chicken Rama arrives and it was presented nicely, so I was hoping this would redeem the terrible soup.. I took a bite of chicken in the peanut sauce and was not very happy. The sauce had a weird sort of sweetness to it that I couldn't really place. Overall, the Rama was alright, but I have certainly had better Thai food else where. My friend got the Thai Garlic Chicken (which looked identical to the Rama, except different sauce) which she said was good, but again, nothing worth going back for. My half of the meal came to $14 after tip...a bit too much for such a mediocre meal.

Unhappy Delivery-Order Experience. Ordered in from Beets in Park Slope last night. First and last time, sorry. My wife ordered the "Thai Garlic" Red Snapper, I the Massaman Curry. The food arrived just under 1 hour. The Thai Garlic was supposed to come with broccoli, carrots and scallions. Well, all there was was a small piece of fish (maybe 3 ounces), plus brocooli. No carrots, no scallions, nothing. We called them, and they were completely nonchalant about it. Not in so many words, but essentially they said "Yes, and what' s your point?". Eventually they did agree to deliver some more vegetables, which arrived after another 30 minutes (of course we have finished by then, we were starving already when the food arrived).

The food itself was ok, not bad, but nothing special (both the snapper and the curry).

We'll have to try another Thai.

Great Appetizers!!. My husband and I were strolling past BEET and we decided to stop in for an afternoon cocktail. I am soooo glad I did. I had the Passion Vodka cocktail, which has grey goose vodka, apple juice, passion fruit, gingerale and something else. What was so cute was the little oragami rose at the tip of my straw. I wish I could upload the picture. The best by far was the GOLDEN PUFFS and the dumplings. I had 2 orders by myself. I almost didn't let my husband have any dumplings. :)

I would recommend this place for it's appetizers and drinks. I plan on going back again this weekend to have more appetizers and a main course. If you are in Park Slope and walking on 7th avenue, stop in and have the $4 Golden puffs. You will not be disappointed. Trust me!!!

Cheap, easy, good!. This is one of my favorite places because it is so easy. When I have eaten there or had it delivered the food always comes out in a timely manner and there are always tons of choices to choose from. I love their Mango Avocado Salad. You can also upgrade to brown rice on any dish. They also have vegitarian "duck". When they deliver the food it come in nice plactic containers, which keep the food in one piece by the time it arrives to your house. The decor is cute and they serve drinks. A great place to take friends or family if you are on a budget. I always have left overs on the rice dishes I order and eat them the next day. i read in all the reviews about "beet chips" that you are supposed to get as an appetizer but I have NEVER gotten them, seen anyone else in the restaurant eat them or saw them on the menu to order. But over all GREAT!!!
