In Short – The owners of this Thai restaurant obviously like food names: They also own nearby Mango Thai. Here, the namesake is represented by the red and purple color scheme, a contrast to the bone-white furniture straight out of Woody Allen's "Sleeper." But other than the complimentary beet chip starter, the scarlet vegetable is nowhere to be found on the menu, a mixture of standard Thai fare and more intriguing dishes like avocado-mango salad and red snapper with champagne-vanilla butter sauce.

This place is great. Its reasonably priced, in fact the wine is downright cheap, and there are some great quirky reasons for eating at the restaurant (some dishes come with "fire") anddelivery is good too! fast.. fast

Still a good choice

I was looking for good Thai. I tried delivery from Beet Thai. It's not the most authentic Thai food I've ever had. But you can tell that care is taken and the quality of ingredients is high. The veggies are fresh and the meat is good. Not bad at these prices. I love their Curry Puff and Spicy Broad Noodle. Now I orderd from them twice a week.

Good... UNTIL LAST NIGHT!

Beet is a decent thai restaurant. We order from it all the time, usually the Currry Puffs and the Pad See Yu.
That is, until last night...
Inside of the Curry Puff I found a piece of twisted metal, like an inch-long section of wire. It was in my mouth and, fortunately, I felt it before I swallowed. Otherwise, it would have been not only disgusting, but also dangerous.
It goes without saying i won't order from that place again.
- Pros: Decent food
- Cons: Disgusting discovery!
