I went here last night with the gf for restaurant week primarily becasue the specials at two other restaurants didn't interest us. We were both pleased with our find. The wait staff was friendly and efficient, the food flavorful with generous portions. I thought her entree, the chipotle corn crusted salmon was dry (although she liked it), but I really liked my Bandeja Paisa (skirt steak). The restaurant's coconut flan apparently won an award from Latina magazine, but I personally preferred their tres leches sponge cake. The restauant has feel of a favored local restaurant with a mix of families with children and singles on dates in attendance. This isn't a romantic restaurant, but neither is it a drab diner. It's a festive place with loud upbeat Latin tunes playing in the background. I liked it a lot.
Pros: food
Cons: tables are too close together

I have been to Bogata on several occasions and have enjoyed it everytime. The fish tacos, the plantain chips, the paella and their empanadas as well as their mojito was great. It is not the greatest place for conversation because it can get loud, but i still think it is one of the best restaurants in park slope.
Pros: food, the bar
Cons: can get loud
