Several nights per week, a traditional Irish band greets visitors in the breezeway of this pub, whose name translates to "music" in Gaelic. Inside, friendly regulars perch on bench seats and rest their pints on tall barrels or settle in at the extra-long bar, which boasts a selection of Irish and domestic brews on tap. Perfectly poured Guinness and boisterous bartenders inspire conversations between strangers, but the back room offers booths and tables for private dining.

Dana and Alec are the best. Beer bingo on Mondays is a hoot. Good food. Nice spot. They have a fun Karaoke on the weekends.

I'm sad to say that the previously ok food at Ceol has really gotten bad. I think they've cut down on the menu choices, so you'd think what they are focused on making would be good, but it's not. The Shepards Pie is bland and tastes like sloppy joe with packaged mashed potatoes on top. The fries are out of a bag, and the salads look sad. This used to be a standby for decent bar food and sandwiches, but something has changed. I'd still say go to Ceol for an old school crowd, hilarious karaoke, and a good beer selection, but do yourself a favor and eat before you go.

Food was average, but served cold. Music extremly loud enough to go deaf. Not enough chairs or tables for large group gatherings. Service for large group parties is adaquate with more than 1 waitress and 2 bus boys. Near mass transit which is a big plus. Your typical Irish cusine.
