Mini Golf!. coke and bourbon slushies + cheap pitchers + mini golf = happy rachel!
This place is the best!. I live in the neighborhood, and although BCC has started to become the go-to spot for the local hipster, I will never ever stop getting toe-up drunk in here. No matter how many poseurs drop in. I've just learned to come in later in the evening when the girls with dady issues and the emaciated, white jeans wearing boys have moved on to Union Pool. John and the staff rock, the specials rock and I love the golf course too!
(Examples: Best pizza anywhere, Avoid on Friday nights, Great customer service. i love this bar more than i love my parents. the bartenders never remind me of how retarded i was the previous evening/morning.
Craptacular.
This bar revels in it's diveness. Great servers and a friendly crowd- this place can be packed during prime hours.
Don't be scared away by the membership process. Non members are welcome at the bar as well. Even the club course (complete with PBR can windmill) is open to nonmembers. And getting a membership is as easy as meeting any two regualrs hanging out at the bar.
East Williamsburg bar parodies the suburban institution--complete with kitsch, membership and mini-golf in the backyard.. A mellow neighborhood crowd mixes in the kitschy bar, with shabby chandeliers, a photo booth and ironically hip action figures and pop culture lunchboxes. In the back yard, pickup games of mini-golf are played for free on a DIY course, with obstacles such as a windmill made of flattened PBR cans and a rudimentary hobo mannequin. BCC carries a range of lowbrow and high-quality beers, wines, bourbons and tequilas guaranteed to improve the putt. Members of the Country Club get that fuzzy feeling of fitting in, with additional perks such as special discounts. The jukebox keeps it all going with everything from Men Without Hats to the Descendants.
Need to get referred. I'd love to check out this place, I'm relatively new to Queens, and want to go but you need 2 referrals! Anyone willing to help me out with that would be appreciated~ aim = erikasnacks
The BCC is fast becoming a Williamsburg legend. In a neighborhood full of bars, the Country Club manages to serve a real purpose. That purpose being a real bar. A great mix of people - working professionals, colorful neighborhood natives, cool kids. A perfect place for unwinding after work for a generous happy hour as well as a perfect place for a lively weekend. Bartenders treat their job as a profession - a rarity in Williamsburg - these guys and girls actually know how to make drinks and make you feel welcome! So venture off of Bedford - it'll be worth your while.
DAMN!. gOOD PRICED DRINKS, pHOTOBOOTH(4PICS FOR $3)too cold for mini golf, but damn, they crank their heat! I'd hate to pay their heating bill!
Great place. Fun bar, great bartenders, good drinks, one of the very few places to play mini golf in Brooklyn. Good times.
I heart the BCC.
I heart the Bushwick Country Club because it's the best new bar in the neighborhood, it's comfortable, divey without being smelly, arty without being snooty, fun fun fun!
The bartenders are sweet and personable, the drinks are reasonably priced, and once you figure out the quirks of the mini golf course you'll realize it's actually not impossible. (I still suck though.)
