I discovered this day spa four years ago when I moved to Brooklyn. I would not trust my face or body to any other estheticians! Until I started getting treatments at Smith Street Spa, I never got compliments on my skin - I now do regularly - and I only get facials seasonally. I now use Dermologica products, which have helped the texture of my skin. Let me add not once has one of the estheticians pushed any product on me; only when asked by me, have products been recommended. I can't rave enough about the skills and warm personalities of the team at Smith Street Spa. It is worth a trip to from any other borough!!

Excellent Facials. I have followed the owner to Smith St spa from her days in spas in Manhattan. I don't trust my face to anyone else! Worth the trip. Affordable.

Experience that Cures. I've had looked for help with my acne for ages. I restlessly visited dermatologists, tortured myself with strange diets, overdosed with mediations, and visited all kinds of spas with no definite result. Margo, in 119 Smith Spa, is the only person who worked her "magic" to cure my skin!!!

Her experience and regular treatments not just cured my acne and healed my skin but also improved the quality of my life and help to regain my self-confidence. Thank you!

WORST MASSAGE EVER!!! other Review must be fake. yelp review is closer to the truth. had a really bad massage that was OVERPRICED at $90 per hour. my massage did NOT involve any massage on FEET, Hands, or Head!!! how unsatisfying is that. and the technique was really unnatural and bad. maybe, she was new but she'll never be good, i'm sorry to say, and they shouldn't have someone soo unexperienced with bad technique working there. i've gotten much better massages at the place one smith and dean for half the price, or another chinese joint around are far better.

Professionalism,Tact and Elegance,. This place is a gem in Brooklyn! It stands out with its pleasant and elegant ambiance along with its genuine customer service! I have never received in my life such a thorough, professionally done facial, executed with knowledge competence and commitment. They put thought behind every skin-related challenge! Moreover, the esthetician explains and accentuates on your problem areas so delicately, leading you carefully step by step during the process, so that you learn to "hear the voice" of your skin. My skin is hyper sensitive and my greatest fear in life is to have scars after blackheads cleaning, but the delicacy with which my face was treated left my skin glowing and rejuvenated. I could not resist looking at myself in the mirror. In addition, I am an eyebrow fetish and this place is the Mecca for my eyebrows. Margo is the most gifted facial perfectionist and eyebrow designer I have had so far. Amazing approach and they do love what they are doing! I guess it is all about the right attitude, devotion and loving your job!

my favorite spa in brooklyn !. Recently i received a gift certificate from my husband for a 60 min massage and facial. I have to say that was the best b.day present so far. I really enjoyed the massage, i felt sooo relaxed. Also., facial was great, i had a lot of blackheads and she cleaned them perfectly. I highly recommend this place, you will feel completly refreshed !

Luxury spa service with no attitude, sales pressure or high costs. I must have walked past this spa a dozen times without noticing it, but when you walk in it's very serene, clean and relaxing. The owner did my manicure and pedicure, paying attention to every little detail. The price was totally reasonable - no need to go to Manhattan for luxury service, or have your cuticles butchered by the local $10 manicure shops.

BEST massage I EVER HAVE!!!!. I love this place. My back feels better than it has in 10 years! I've had chronic back pain for years, and Smith Street Spa offer me a deep great massage (they have the BEST hands in New York!) my back is about 100% better!

I cannot wait to go back there.

Best Back Wax Ever!!!. That was the most painless backwax that I ever have had !!! After trying many places that one was definetly done by proffesional stuff . Fast and affordable

the facial was just okay.... On the recommendations here, and because I live in the neighborhood, I went for a facial with Margo. She did spend a decent amount of time on extractions, and they were definitely painful, more so than those at Providence Day Spa (also in the neighborhood). The facial itself was pretty basic, but the products were really nice--Dermalogica. After the facial, I still had the blemishes I had before, though, only smaller. A week and a half later, they have almost all disappeared, but after I exfoliated, put on a couple masks, and put zapping stuff on myself throughout the week. In contrast, after other facials, my skin looked markedly clearer and there were no blemishes remaining after 2-3 days, without me doing all that follow up stuff. It is a good value for a basic service, but if you can swing the extra $20 I would head somewhere else for a more thorough and lasting facial. Also, Margo left the room for 15-20 min while my mask was in--at other places, the facialist will stay and massage hands, feet, and scalp.
