Where can I get a burger?. This place was special. food is excellent. we walked around trying to find the best burger spot in the slope. we passed this really nice lady walking her dog that told us to try out melt. she was right.... the soup was awesome, the chef gave a complimentary taste sample, and the burgers were incredible.

we sat outside in our own little corner, and celebrated 3 years of love and toasted over an amazing burger.

DID NOT LIVE UP TO BILLING. THE STAFF GAVE THIS PLACE A BAD RATING FOR ME. THE MEAL THAT WAS PICKED OUT WAS BAD THEY EVEN WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR A MEAL THAT WAS SENT BACK BECAUSE IT WAS SO BAD BUT I WAS OPEN TO TRY SOMETHING ELSE AND WAS BILLED FOR TWO MEALS THE ONE I ATE AND THE ONE I SENT BACK. I'M GOING BACK NEXT WEEK (LOL) OK SO I'M NEVER GOING BACK.

Thank you for your feedback. We do our best to resolve issues on the spot before guests leave the restaurant. Since customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to us, it is uncustomary of any staff member to charge a guest for a meal that was returned. I would like to personally apologize on behalf of the staff and welcome you back to melt. I would be happy to speak to you and find a resolution.

Friendly Servers and Excellent Food. Melt is the best restaurant in North slope, I went in plenty of times in the last month and Alex is long gone. Employees come and go in this industry and with a bad attitude of course He would not last as the manager. The servers yesturday were very friendly. The food at melt is always fresh and delicious-especially the daily specials. Every dish that comes out of that kitchen is absolutely worth every dime. The owner is great. She works hard to make melt work. The St. Germain cocktail is smooth. There is nowhere else in the slope that can compete with melt. Its been my favorite and will continue to be my favorite today, tomorrow and on and on.

Melt is a fantastic value. All-caps "disappointing mother" below misses the point: one of the many nice things about Melt is that it really is more of an 'adult' place. This is a "pro" for many people!

The food is excellent. On Tuesdays, they have a tasting menu that is an exceptional value. I definitely recommend it, although on some Tuesdays you will get a better meal than others. I guess the experimentation is how they come up with what works. Everything I've sampled on the regular menu is great.

The decor is slick and mod, but the place still feels friendly and cozy. Service is friendly and competent.

MELTs in your mouth. The food at Melt is really good. I enjoyed the beef brisket which was probably the best I've ever had it. My friend and I enjoyed specialty drinks from the menu - one was a American Geisha which was Ty Ku, strawberry vodka and rose water. It was absolutely delicious.

The service was excellent and the restaurant itself is a pleasure to be in. Highly recommended.

A DISAPPOINTING MOTHER. MY HUSBAND TOOK ME AND OUR CHILD HERE FOR DINNER, THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT KIDS

FRIENDLY. I COULDN 'T FIND ANYTHING ON THE MENU THAT MY NINE YEAR OLD WOULD LIKE TO

HAVE FOR DINNER. THERE IS NO KIDS MENU TO OFFER TO FAMILIES THAT WISH TO BRING THEIR

YOUNG CHILDREN WITH THEM FOR DINNER, WHAT A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT THIS WAS.

PARK SLOPE IS A NEIGBORHOOD WITH MANY YOUNG CHILDREN , FOR A RESTAURANT TO BE

SUCCESSFUL HERE ,YOU WILL HAVE TO START CARTERING TO FAMILIES WITH KIDS AS WELL.

HOPEFULLY THE MANAGEMENT OR OWNER(S) WILL TAKE THIS ADVISE AND ADD ON A KIDS

MENU TO THE ESTABLISTMENT.

Coolest Fancy Food Joint. My first experience at Melt was to try the $25 Tuesday tasting menu. I couldn't have been more pleased with the variety of selection and the refined use of spices and natural flavorings. Most particularly, the soup starter. Clearly, the chef understands that the use of salt is to bring out the flavor of the ingredients and not be a flavor itself. The soups are creamy and sensual. The plates began as appetizer size portions with the last at dinner plate proportion. The deserts are designed to satisfy at the end of the meal while not be too sweet. Again, hail to the chef for understanding the inherent sweetness in foods without relying soley on sugar.

A favorite of many who sit to eat and chat at the bar is the Grilled Kobe Burger. Not only is it a huge chunk of meat replete with a host of condiments, it is served with a huge bowl of delicious crispy string style french fries. The bar drink specials are delightful, creative and far from the standard fair. Recently, I have sat for brunch at Melt and am in love with the Cajun Crab Benedict and Baked Eggs in an Eggplant, Artichoke Ragu.

Considering the number of selections on the main menu and that all is cooked to order and to taste, it is a wonder that the wait staff are as good and as adorable as they are.

Best Brunch for your buck!. Ended up at Melt for brunch pretty randomly one afternoon and it's became an instant favorite. We had the crabcake benedict and the kobe beef burger, and a pineapple infused vodka drink that was incredible. The meal was excellent, the waitress very sweet and the prices very affordable and reasonable. Service was also rather quick. The only thing I wish is that it were a little bigger...otherwise EXCELLENT!

Yummy and friendly!. I am a regular here for brunch and dinner. The service is always spectacular and the food delicious! The pricing is amazing too...well worth it. The only time I had a problem was when a family next to us couldn't control their screaming child. This place is not built for children...I don't understand why anyone would bring them...especially for dinner! No offence, but there are plenty of other places in Park Slope for the kiddies! So wasn't I thrilled when I saw them open for lunch the other day. (wed-fridays) A friend and I were the only two people in there. Apparently nobody else has figured it out yet, because brunches are always a full house. I had the swedish meatballs which were divine. My friend had the salmon which was also great! Try it!
