Bogus Groupon Offer.
Not worth the groupon offer.
After reading a couple of previous reviews, it looks like I made the same mistake.
The wine pour was laughable.. really guy behind the bar with attitude? you're going to pour me 10ml of wine and call it a day. Really?
Long story short, we got through five courses if wine with food... and when I say food I mean literally two bites per plate.
Then we went someplace called Alchemy around the corner to have an actual (full) glass of wine without the attitude.
Well done Melt, if it hadnt been for you, I wouldn't have found Alchemy which is a cool little bar.
Good food if the portion could be lager.
If you have Groupon voucher, it is for five small appetizer dishes and five 10ml glasses of different wine.
Food was generally good, but portions were tiny.
We ordered another shrimp pasta and hand cut sweet potato fries. Both were flavorful and delicious.
The waitress is a sweetheart.
I would like this place better if the portion could be a bit larger.
Best Wings, but non available!!!.
About 2 weeks ago, we were at the Bergen street party.
Melt was one of the participatants. They had some real
amazing chicken wings. The sauce was really delicious. It was spicy, sweet, and sour, kind of like a Thai sauce. The best wings we ever had and I crave for
it. I' ve tried to place a few orders for my house party and was told its no longer available. How could you guys have the wings two weeks ago and not
have it anymore? This place is a joke! What a big disappointment you guys are.
fantastic food & service. melt is hands down our favorite restaurant in park slope! The food never disappoints, and that combined with the great service has made regulars out of us!
DOUBLE DISAPPOINTMENT !!!.
Very, very disappointed at this restaurant.
Yesterday was the second time we ordered food from the delivery menu and it was the second time they told us they are out of fried
chicken. We were going to settle for a couple of
bugers, but they were out of burgers too. We are not as lucky playing the lottery. We hit the
Jackpot with this one. Why even have the items
on the menu if you do not wish to sell it ? The is doing a dis service t o your customers, especially a customer who is giving you a second chance to make it right.
The Menu Shrunk !!!.
I' ve decided to come back and dine at Melt the other
night and to my surprise, the menu have been change.
The selections are very limited. There were about a total
of only seven entrees listed. What happened??? I was
here last year and there were many more selections and choices. I feel this menu was created for a eatery
at the mall.
I had the chicken breast, it was ok. It did not "WOW" me.
My date had the burger because there was not much to
select from. Just a suggestion, expand your menu.
The best lamb in Park Slope.
The four of us went to Melt the other Friday and we really
enjoyed the delicious food. Our compliments to the chef
for preparing such a memorable meal. The server suggested I try the lamb shank. She said that you can not go wrong, and that it is absolutely delicious. She is
right on point with this. When the lamb came out , the
aroma was so tempting and pleasing. The lamb meat
just kind of slides off its bone went you poke it with the
fork. My palette was amazed by the sauce. It was very,
very good. Is the chef willing to share his recipe?
BIG HIT !!!.
WE WENT BACK TO MELT ON SATURDAY IT WAS BUSY. DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT TOO LONG TO BE SEATED (15 MINUTES). I ORDERED THE LEG OF LAMB. THE SERVING WAS REALLY BIG. THE MEAT WAS VERY TENDER, IT JUST FALLS OFF THE BONE.
THE DISH WAS DELICIOUS AND VERY FILLING. YOU WILL GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH ON THIS ONE.
MY FRIEND TRIED THE MELT BURGER, IT TOO WAS
BIG (MAYBE 10 ozs). VERY NICELY COOKED, VERY
JUICY AND FRESH. THE BURGER IS ALSO A MUST
TRY, JUST BE CAUTIOUS, YOU MIGHT GET ADDICTED
TO IT.
DELIGHTFUL SURPRISE.
WE WERE THERE ON TUESDAY NIGHT FOR DINNER
AND DRINKS. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. WE
WERE ABIT CONFUSED ON HOW THE MENU IS SET UP (SMALL, MEDIUM, AND BIG DISHES). TWO OF US HAD THE STEAK AND IT WAS THY BEST JUICY PREPARED PIECES OF MEAT WE EVER HAD. IT WAS JUST VERY TENDER AND FILL WITH FLAVOR ESPECIALLY THE SAUCE. ITS OUT OF THIS WORLD.
MY OTHER TWO FRIENDS HAD THE MUSSELS AND
THEY LOVED EVERYONE OF THEM. THEY WERE FRESH AND NOT FISHY. AND AGAIN ITS THE SAUCE THAT PULLED IT ALL TOGETHER. ITS OUT OF THIS WORLD. THE CHEF REALLY KNOWS HIS STUFF.
WE DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE STEAK AND THE MUSSELS IN THIS PLACE.
Where can I get a burger?.
This place was special. food is excellent. we walked around trying to find the best burger spot in the slope. we passed this really nice lady walking her dog that told us to try out melt. she was right.... the soup was awesome, the chef gave a complimentary taste sample, and the burgers were incredible.
we sat outside in our own little corner, and celebrated 3 years of love and toasted over an amazing burger.
