Can't stop eating – The Chocolate Room was amazing. That's why I had a problem in my diet. Why I can't resist this kind of food. CHOCOLATE!!! They have this homemade food that so delicious and pretty much creative. Good quality and the service? Are always friendly and happy. So, I'll see you next time around.
Decadently Delicious Desserts!!! – We ordered a ton of different things, they had a special for the night, a chocolate hazelnut mousse pie with carmelized banannas,...that was divine!
I had the brownie sundae which was even more amazing. Best tasting chocolate fudge ever!
The coffee ice cream is unlike any other coffee icecream!
You must must go here. Forget about your diet and healthy eating for the night and go all out!
Best desert place ever! – I cannot even begin to describe the amazing deserts at this place. Its small, very cozy, and the staff is extremely friendly! Deserts are to die for - their chocolate layered cake!! OMG - i could probably eat that every day!! If you love chocolate - this place will surpass any expectations you have!
Beyond excellent – I called the Chocolate Room on a Friday and asked if there was any way they could provide 140 boxes of chocolate wedding favors--for the next day. The owner, John, didn't even hesitate, but promptly agreed and with less than 24 hours notice, produced 140 beautifully wrapped white and silver wedding favor boxes. I was so impressed with that level of customer service and my guests were so delighted with the delicious chocolates. Many of them claimed that it was the best chocolate they had ever tasted and I'd have to agree. Amazing customer service and a high quality product has made me a very loyal customer. Thank you John, Naomi and the Chocolate Room staff for adding that extra special touch to my wedding!
Delish! – I almost don't want to share the secret since this place gets so crowded! the service is always friendly, the desserts are homemade, top notch and creative and the atmosphere is fun. I could have the brownie sundae three meals a day.
Worst "High End" Chocolate I've Tasted, Ever – I didn't try the cakes or brownies, but I did buy their chocolate truffles. For how much money they cost ($40+/lb.), I couldn't believe how terrible they tasted! The closest thing I could think to compare these truffles to were Halloween or Easter candy that you can find at any drugstore. Their caramel bon bon tasted like a Cadbury Creme Egg. Don't waste your money on any of the chocolates here. You're better off taking that same amount of money to a place like Jacques Torres.
Great chocolate brownie sundae, a little crowded – Their chocolate brownie sundae is to die for. It is so good that I had cravings for it weeks after I had it. This is saying a lot since I'm not a huge fan of desserts in general. I had the brownie with vanilla ice cream. The night that I went, they ran out of chocolate cake, but their cupcakes use the same recipe. I tried the cupcakes also, but it was nothing compared to the sundae. It is by far the best dessert i've ever had. A little expensive at about $7.50, but it's something you have to try. Nice place to bring a date after dinner.
Brownie Sundae!!! – The place is not big, but it is comfortable. Service is friendly. Their brownie sundae is amazing. I love it with either vanilla ice cream or the chocolate sorbet. Their chocolate cake is very good as well but it is overrated. Overall, I strongly recommend the place, but there is usually a long wait if you go late at night.
REEEEEEEEEEALLY good chocolate cake – Their famous chocolate cake is quite close to absolute perfection. The texture is phenomenally smooth and the cake is so moist and honestly, everything a chocolate cake was meant to be. The frosting melts in to the cake in between the layers, and oh man, it is just divine. Absolutely worth trying, especially if you're in the area.
Extremely great service – Possibly the best chocolate cake ever and service that goes above and beyond. They took the time to help my wife with a recipe and even sold her some of the baking chocolate they use at a cost...makes you want to come back again and again..
