Comfortable and excellent service. I bought a groupon last year and just had an appointment with Grace. The salon is lovely, very low pressure and comfortable. Grace did an EXCELLENT job with my color and cut. I will definitely come back and I encourage you to check out Lush Salon. BTW the prices were a very pleasant surprise. I am used to spending a lot on my hair for the same quality of service. Lush is a great deal.

wonderful. My friend told me to go to Grace at lush, I was very happy with my color and hair cut. I enjoyed my time there. It was very calm and relaxing and very beautiful

thank you for your help. i happen to walk by and saw this salon. i am getting married in april and needed a new hair color and thanks to grace she made me look like jo-lo i wish she was able to do my hair for my wedding but im getting married out of town

i do recommend grace for your cut and color, she really knows what shes doing

Lovin' Lush. I never really go to Bayridge for a cut and color but.....I was pleasantly surprised by Lush.When I arrived I was greeted by Eric, one of the owners of Lush. I filled out some info about myself and was happy to see a small menu of complimentary coffee attached to the clipboard, :) then, a super nice assistant brought me to the back where I had chance to speak with Eric about my haircolor, (he's also the colorist). We decided on my natural color for the time being, I was still a bit apprehensive about highlights we talked about. The color came out beautiful, nice and shiny, healthy, I really loved it but I was already onto my haircut by Helen when we noticed some grey hairs. I was upset and Eric said something about it but it was Helen who said to fix it, and he did very nicely I may add. Helen cut my hair beautifully, and she's such a sweetie, I will be going back!

SO worth the trip. Over the years, I've been a client at various upscale salons in both LA and Manhattan. I'd have one great experience but the subsequent visits were almost never consistent. That perfect cool blond the colorist achieved the first time, mysteriously turned into a brassy crayon yellow the next. So, when my publicist friend first started talking up this guy she'd met at a fashion show I was intrigued... until she told me he was in Bayridge. I mean who wants to travel all the way to Bayridge from Manhattan to get their hair done? However, after yet another disappointing appointment with a stylist who barely listened and a head of brassy, stripey highlights, I gave in.

Walking in to Lush you are greeted by the serene environment of the best Manhattan salons, but the added bonus? The staff is actually friendly. The girl at the desk promptly whisked me into the back, offered me a drink and got me set up to meet my colorist Eric; with none of the "I'm only speaking to you because I'm paid to" attitude. A few minutes later, I met the man himself. Rather than immediately launching in to what he thought we should do (as had happened time and time before) Eric took the time to listen and repeat back what I wanted before offering a few ideas of his own to help really make the color pop. (Beige blond highlights with some lo lights painted in to even out the handy work of his predecessors.) Even though he'd put me at ease I was still prepared for another disappointment, I'd had stylists lull me into a false sense of security before. Eric worked carefully and methodically, taking care to avoid the chunky sections I dreaded all the while chatting away and making me feel as though I'd been a client for years. Once the color had set and his assistant had washed, conditioned and given me the most amazing shiatsu massage, it was time for the reveal.

The color was so perfect I almost kissed him. For the next few weeks my girlfriends all commented on how great it looked, but I knew the true test would be the next visit. Could he deliver again? My next appointment started out with the same friendly greeting and another conversation about my expectations... and once again I left completely satisfied. Since I met Eric Thomas I have never received more compliments on the color and have even gotten a few of my friends to make the trek. Traveling from Manhattan to the depths of Brooklyn may seem crazy, but for the perfect highlights it is so so worth it. Trust me, just pack a book for the train ride and make your way to Lush, you will not be disappointed!

Lush=Great People & Quality Service. For starters, Lush has such an inviting atmosphere so from the moment you walk in, you feel at home. The staff is super friendly and immediately take your coat, offer you a beverage and even offer a free massage! the salon is well kept and very clean. (theres even a bar in the back if you want to sip some wine or have some coffee while getting primped!)

Besides the top of the line products used, the REAL attraction (at least for me) is my hairstylist, Silvana. I have been with her for over 5 years now and cannot imagine going to anyone else for a cut!! I have curly, thick hair, and she knows exactly how to cut and style like no other. Whether left curly or if i straigthen it, it is always perfectly cut!! She is absolutely amazing and i would highly recommend her...

I dont get color myself, but i know several people who do by her and they always look fabulous! So if you are looking for good color also see Silvana, she is the best!! Thanks for all your great cuts over the years Silvana!!

Never looked better!. From the moment I walked in I was treated like gold! My girl bought me a gift certificate for a cut and color after I started complaining about going a bit gray around the edges. I am so glad she did.

Ask for Eric! He gave me a great cut, and even better color. No Joke, I look and feel ten years younger! Thanks Eric!

Looking fabulous. The moment you stepped into Lush you are greeted by a friendly staff and their professional hair colorists. I have been Sylvana customer for more than 10+ years and her technique on hilites and suggestion how to maintain it is amazing ( with all the color changes I had through the years, from red head to blonde like Shakira, my hair is still thick and shiny).

If you are looking for a change ( getting hilites for the first time) I will strongly suggest Lush and ask for Sylvana. You will not be disappointed.
