A small gem. I'm a fan of minibar's inviting scene. Never supercrowded or strangely empty, it seems to work that good balance in between. I like the prices and the service is perfect there and would recommend it to anyone in Carroll Gardens looking for a place to relax for a few beverages.

User review by ablake231. √This bar has a great vibe for a date, or just drinks with friends.

Its very cozy with exposed brick walls and lots of wood. It also has

a great drink selection. The special cocktails are a lot of fun but

the also have a great wine list and lots of good whiskey. The

Bartenders are friendly and can usually help you out if can't

pick a beverage. The regulars are generally very friendly and

the place is not clique-y at all, so its okay to come alone, you'll

usually end up spending the evening with people who you never met

before, probably don't know each other but are very welcoming.

Cozy on Court Street. The bar is stocked with top notch booze without sticker shock prices. Owners hold fun events and are charitable, often donating money from events to various causes. This little tucked away bar is well stocked with amazing bourbons, some hard to find selections. Cocktails are creative and well crafted. It's cozy for a romantic get away, but friendly enough for a night out with friends or even by yourself to meet new friends.

Upscale Booze w/out Attitude. The Minibar is a great place to get a great drink. The owners/management specialize in high quality alcohol of all kinds: wine, beer, and spirits, particularly scotch and bourbon. The tight space ensures that you are never neglected for service and conversation abounds between patrons who probably would normally not talk to each other. Essentially, the Minibar feels more like a party in a friend's living room, except with professional service.

Great bar for good liquor & service. This tiny bar has only one drawback--a too-cute name. But don't let that stop you. Although just about everything on the shelf--wine, whisky, rum, beer, vodka--is a bit obscure, anything you pick will be so good you'll ask the bartender for a napkin so you can write down the name of what you just drank. Great bartenders and a nice atmosphere!

not just your neighbohood joint. Minibar, true to it's name is tiny. What it lacks in space it makes up for in style. Everything from the dark wood tones to the burgundy plush benches says relaxed and classy. The selection of wines, bourbons (their specialty), and mixed drinks is unrivaled in the area. It's intimate- a place where people can come and mingle as easily as they can enjoy a private conversation. All around a great place- get in early to get a seat!

This Carroll Gardens bar packs an array of wines and bourbons into its diminutive confines.. In Short
Don't judge this bar by its square-footage. Though it may resemble your first studio apartment in size, its bar is unquestionably better stocked. Catering to a section of the neighborhood underserved by nightlife options, the little boite draws a crowd with its happy hour specials. Couples and small groups of friends linger over wine at the small wooden bar or at the tiny tables for two, lit by atmospheric votive candles.
