Red Hook-beloved bakery that features delicious lemon marshmallows, S'more bars and cakes.

The caramel salted cupcake is a delicate delight if you're in the mood to venture out, or in the Red Hook area. Go beyond their baked goods and explore the pantry items such as granola and popcorn!
A very nice little place to hang out. The cake was smooth and soft and the cream was light. .. I enjoyed every single bite of it! A very nice little place to hang out at, without paying the inflated prices of cafes in Manhattan.
Not what I thought it would be. The reviews for BAKED are normally good and their chocolate chip cookie gets great reviews. The cookie is great but their cupcakes are not awesome. The hot chocolate is done very well and I really enjoyed it. I don't feel the need to return to BAKED though.
Best Chocolate Chunk Cookie I've Ever Had. I'm so sick of these crappy bakeries with beautiful but gummy cookies. I don't want poor excuses for pastries made with fake, vegan margarine that tastes like bird feed. Gimme butter. Gimme chocolate. Gimme Baked. They seriously have the BEST chocolate chunk cookie I've ever had. They do not mess around. It's a problem for me and my waistline.
Try the sweet and salty cupcakes. Very charming, hip atmosphere, fun merchandise to take home, and (most importantly) almost everything I've eaten there has been perfection. The icing is not overly sweet, the flavor combinations are creative, and the presentation is beautiful. The cakes are a little expensive. I got the red velvet cake for a birthday party and was a little disappointed; although it was still very good, for the price I was hoping to be blown away. Still, if you are in Red Hook, you should definitely stop by.
Costly "Cake Box" Cakes. Was impressed with the unusual taste combos, thought I thought the place was more about hype than quality. It's definitely a cool place to be and eat, though I could "take or leave" the cakes. Most have a real cake-box taste to them. For the price, I expected something more. I really like the Red Velvet from Bone Lick Park (in the city) instead.
tasty cakes.
We ALWAYS get our cakes here!
The cakes here are beautiful!
It is always moist on the inside and not overly sweet!
The frosting is handmade and delicious!!
Worst Bakery Ever in NYC.. I had the pastries and was very dry and tasted old. Coffee tast like wood and very expensive.I wouldn't eat there ever again.
Just average. I read several reviews that were praising the cupcakes and since I was on the search for the best cupcakes in NY, I just had to try this place. I made my friend drive there from Sheepshead Bay only to find that their cupcakes were just alright. That's really all I have to say about it. It was not that worth it for the travel.
What's The Big Deal?. Dropped in during a recent week in New York. The plum muffin was okay, albeit quite dry. The service, however, was surly and arrogant. Some of the refrigerated items seemed old. Have they slipped? Or am I missing something?
