The best watering hole in Brooklyn! Period!!. I've only been going to 13's for the past several month's, and i'm glad I did!

Not only does it have a kickass jukebox selection, but it's also tended by the coolest

and down to earth bar staf that you coul ever hope to find in a bar! You have to got there for Monday Night Madness hosted by the beautiful Unique! You wont be disappointed!

Also the drinksa are very afforadable (i.e cheap) and the atmosphere really make you let go! In my opinion 13's is the vegas of bars in Parkslope Brooklyn! what happens there stays there!

Well Worth Leaving Manhattan!. What can I say? There is NO other bar that gets me out of Manhattan on a regular basis! Great/hot bartenders, a really good crowd, a fab jukebox with a good mix of music, and reasonably priced, well-made drinks! What's there not to like? Check out the constantly changing artwork and the various special events and parties.

User review by kennydoogs. I can not possibly say enough good things about Lucky13 Saloon. I have spent so much time hanging there since it opened up. I have made many new friends and met some of the coolest, open-minded, and interesting individuals whom I otherwise would not have. The atmosphere is by far the best aspect of Lucky13Saloon but the cheap beers and the fact that they have the most amazing mix of metal,punk,goth/industrial in there jukebox. Plus, the owners and bartenders are very good and very talented at keeping everyone in the partying mood!!

User review by lumen. As a Park Slope resident it's great to finally have a joint that friends from Manhattan will actually make it a point to head out to. How many bars can you say that about? I always have a great time at Lucky 13, whether hanging out with old friends, or making new ones. Melody kicks ass behind the bar, and the atmosphere can't be beat.

we always go there when we are in NY. When we visit from the UK, we always make the trip out to see Melody and everyone at Lucky 13's....For us, coming from London, it's a home away from home where we know we will get kick ass drinks. kick ass service and our asses won't be kicked while listening to kick ass music!

A visit to NY would not be complete with a trip to Lucky 13!

Best metal bar in New York City!. The jukebox of my dreams resides at this place (with TWO Slayer albums and a ton of metal, punk, hardcore and other alternative stuff even including trip hop). The weekends kick ass with an awesome bartender about as big as my thumb but a lot hotter and drinking about 15 shots a night. The next best thing about the place is that there is never 'tude there. Everyone is there for the loud music and cheap booze, and half naked women dancing on the pole ON the bar so who has time for strife?

User review by deadgirl. I always have fun at Lucky 13! The jukebox is amazing and the crowd is always friendly, a good mixture of metalheads, punks and locals. Best part is, the irritating cooler than cool hipster quotient is wonderfully missing! Drinks are cheap and generous and there's art on the walls that changes every couple weeks. Melody is a great mixologist and can conjure up delish concoctions. The vegan white russians are fantasmo and her green drinks are (in)famous.

One Hell of a Cosmo. MANY bars have popped up on Fifth Avenue in Park Slope in the past couple of years and none of them are as cool as Lucky's. Melody, the tattooed, bad-ass chick behind the bar can make a fantastic mixed drink, especially her specialty Cosmo. Fair prices (specials include $2 cans of PBR) and an incredible jukebox make it an awesome time, even when it gets really crowded.

Park Slope goes punk at this energetic watering hole.. In Short
This intimate spot mixes together far-flung punk rockers and metalheads with lower-key neighborhood regulars. Posters of Iron Maiden, Ministry and Danzig, rotating shows of eccentric local artwork, and muted horror movies all add to the stimulating environment, spiked by a jukebox pumping Slayer, the Buzzcocks and Pantera. The 23 bottled beers include some uncommon brews, such as Dead Guy Ale and Wolaver's Oatmeal Stout; unique among the mixed drinks is a vegan White Russian.
