Pro: putstanding (if pricey) loaves of bread including divine ciabatta and olive loaf; substantial, well-prepared Italian sandwiches with fine ingredients; crusty, chewy, wide and flat bagels; good Italian desserts. Con: a staff of counter help who appear to have been chosen for their looks, but seem to know nothing about what the bakery sells. (How long can it possibly take to memorize and identify about eight types of bread?) I find I have to watch them like a hawk; at least a third of the time, they'll get some part of my order wrong. That said, they're cheerful about correcting mistakes and the product is good.
