As you walk through the stainless steel doors you are welcomed by the bartenders, who are aware of everyone in the joint. They are very friendly and accomodating. They also have a really cool outdoor patio that makes you feel like you have left New York for the Bahamas, with the colors that have been painted on the floor and walls. I met the owner and she is one of the nicest people you could want to meet. So much so that I booked my birthday party here. The drinks are so diverse and tasty and the food fresh and flavorful. You can really just sit back, have fun, and they take care of all your needs without having to really ask. Take a date, take a business partner, take a friend...you are in for something really special at Disiac. All the stars(Rosie,Cindy Lauper and Mia Michaels" so you think you can dance") that show up don't hurt either.
Pros: EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: Having to come in from the Patio at 10:00pm because of their agreement with the community board.

Disiac should literally be called 'The Hallway" because that is what it is a hallway. There is no space to be even considered a lounge. My friends and I walked in, stayed for a few minutes and left. I find it fascinating that it received such high review marks. Based on the reviews, I thought it would be a great spot to hangout with a group, but I was highly disappointed. On top of the cramp space, I did not find the hostess to be pleasant at all. I expected just a little bit more from a "lounge".
