“The classes are rigorous without being punishing--the teachers make sure you go at a pace you're comfortable with.”
“Its a great place with a great vibe and super close to the subway.”
“can't recommend Happy Now Flat Belly highly enough--in a city of overpriced and underqualified Pilates teachers, this place is a gem.”
Hipsters with trust funds only please. little click-y pilates studio that caters to kids with trust funds. they canceled my appointment for a group session 35 minutes before it was sched. because the other girl had an audition. Instead of sticking to their 24 hour cancelation policy they told me I had to pay a private session fee. Not recommended at all.
Things I love about Happy Now Flat Belly.
Things I love about Happy Now Flat Belly:
1.It's legit. The whole experience is of a quality rarely equaled, genuine commitment to what is intended, and an amazing and challenging core workout
that leaves me feeling good and strong and happy.
2.The instructors. Jesse and Marina are passionate and focused and provide exactly what all great teachers do, trust that you can do it yourself but some great help along the way.
3.The facilities. The space is clean and well organized with enough room for everyone to really stretch out and grow taller, taller, tallest.
User review by moriata. I almost want to keep this place my little secret but it would be unfair. The classes are rigorous without being punishing--the teachers make sure you go at a pace you're comfortable with. I've attended well over ten classes and both Jessie and Marina have always been cheerful and patient every time. I also gained more strength, muscle tone and peace of mind than I've ever had in my life. I can't recommend Happy Now Flat Belly highly enough--in a city of overpriced and underqualified Pilates teachers, this place is a gem.
just what I was looking for. Took me a while to find a place I like as much as this. Marina and Jesse are expert, space is nice. Workout is really satisfying -- and effective. Classes are not too crowded, with good individual attention. I highly recommend.
User review by emilyhall17. The test of a pilates teacher is over the long haul, since the routine doesn't change much, but it's impossible to sleepwalk through a class at HNFB, no matter how well you think you know what you're doing. This is true-blue pilates--no New Age blather, no gimmicks, no catering to short attention spans--just a set of intricately calibrated exercises and two excellent, thoughtful, patient teachers to take you from beginning to end. I don't know why it works, but it does: it's such a short workout, but afterward I always feel perfectly blissed-out and fully exercised, and I'm stronger than I've been in years.

Very happy with flat belly.....
After six years of living in N.Y.C and working in a stressful publishing environment I found that I had become a cardio junkie. When I started Happy Now Flat Belly and I loved it from the very beginning. The instructors are patient and help you to focus on your postures...I started to see results that I never had while doing endless cardio. Not too long ago I did a terrible thing, I cheated, I took pilate classes at different studios. Not one of these classes nor the teachers paid the kind of attention or gave good enough instruction that left me feeling that I just had the best workout. Like all good things and when it is the"right" thing I went back to Happy Now and appreciate it more then ever and intend to remain a faithful and appreciated customer.

A beautiful spot for your core.. It seems like every day there is a new bar or baby store opening up in Williamsburg. Thats an odd combo, but perhaps prescient. What one doesn't see opening up very often is a nice, comfortable place to get in shape and center one's body. I am not a natural fit for Pilates. I am more given to soccer and basketball on the weekends, but Pilates is one of those rare non-sporty healthy activities that I have grown to love and Happy Now Flat Belly is the best place I have found to do it. I have taken a few Pilates classes at some other gyms and yoga places and they aren't like the kind of intuitive instruction I get at Happy Now Flat Belly. Its a great place with a great vibe and super close to the subway. (I haven't given up on Sunday soccer though.)
