sux. this place has sorry pizza... and service sux! get ur pizza from fith ave....
Never order from this Place! Ever!. So I really love the local pizzerias, but every once in a while I get a hankering for some good ole chain pizza. I ordered at 3:07. After an hour I began to call the store. The pizza was quote "en route." 4:30, I call again. Apparently "The driver had the wrong phone number. I have a buzzer? 4:45.... someone picks up and I begin to ask again, they hang up. I sit on my stoop and wait 5:07 a man gets out of a van and asks, Papa Johns? I say yes, he gives me the pizza, I hold my hand out for my change and he actually has to go back to the van to get it. Was this guy seriously expecting a tip? What I got inside the box was far worse. An undercooked, freezing cold pizza without the ham. Just plain pineapple.... I had clearly ordered ham AND pineapple. Also, the signature pepper AND garlic sauce were both missing. Next time I get a hankering for chain pizza, I'm going to hit up dominos.
Horrible service. I order pizza for my farewell get together just one pie it took 2hrs to delivery so I canceled and they still charged me I will never order from their I'd prefer to go to Tony's pizzas.
Fed Up!. If it were possible to give this location less than a single star...I would! I created an account just to tell people not to waste their money, time, and appetite on this place! I have loved Papa's pizza for years and when I moved to Brooklyn, I planned on continuing my regular 2-3 pizza orders a month with Papa. We have ordered with this Papa John's 12-15 times...why I kept giving it a chance, I don't know. Almost every order took at least twice as long as projected, toppings were missing, or the pizza was cold. This last time was the final straw...It took almost two hours, the pizzas were so cold, we had to put them in the oven for 15 minutes, and when we called, the employees at Papa John's were like, "what do you want us to do?" We decided to email the company and asked them to give us a reason to continue our business. As of today, a week later, no one from Papa John's has responded with so much as an apology or a coupon. Never again will I or my roomates eat at Papa John's again, in any town. Dominos, here I come.
The worst Papa John's experience in history.
Hello,
I placed an order today at 4:04 pm (75967619) which arrived over 2 hours after my order (apprx 6:10). At 4:50 I called the store to inquire as to how much longer my order would be taking. The woman who answered the phone told me she would call the delivery driver. At 5:10 I placed another call to find out the status of my order. The woman who answered the phone told me the delivery driver did not answer and she left at voicemail. At 5:40 I placed another call to find out the further status of my order. When I told the woman who answered the phone that I was unhappy about the situation she told me to "call back if my pizza is cold and we can try to negotiate something". After my pizza arrived, I opened the box to find a very cold, near black shriveled pizza. It tasted as disgusting as it looked. When I called the location back to speak to the manager, the woman who answered the phone said "just a minute" to my request and then began shouting at the top of her lungs "this lady asked to speak to manager will someone come and talk to her? why the hell do i have to change my password". When I informed the manager of the situation, he asked for my address, said he would call the driver and then hung up on me.
When I called back 15 minutes later to discover what the issue was, the manager talked over me and I asked him "As the customer, am I not always right?" and he began to lose his cool and tell me that the customer is not always right, that it's more like "50/50". After I firmly stated my displeasure, I was put on hold and subsequently hung up on. When I called back, I was placed on hold for 5 minutes before the manager picked up the phone. He said "What do you want me to do about it? I don't have time to solve someone else's problem. Why don't you call back to speak to the manager that was here this morning?" To which I answered "Are you really being this rude to me?". "What would you like me to do?" he responded to which I replied "This pizza is disgusting, it's inedible." I told him I was displeased that I had to pay nearly $30 for food that was inedible and to turn around and get dinner from somewhere else. He claimed he offered to resend my order, but I told him I did not want pizza from that location. He said he was sorry, he could not refund my money and hung up on me.
I called back to ask for the owner's name and phone number. The woman who answered the phone said his name was Emmanuel, but she did not have that information. After being placed on hold, the hang-up happy manager picks up the phone, says "I'm sorry we cannot give out his personal information" and hangs up on me again.
If you happen to search for this location via google maps, the reviews are HORRENDOUS. My boyfriend and I frequently ordered from Papa Johns back home in Arkansas. These experiences caused me to ignore the negative reviews and count on the same reliable service I had received in Arkansas. If this is how you train owners and staff to run franchise locations, you should be out of business.
If you would like to speak with my directly about this matter, as I am hoping you will, please call me at (number).

In Short
These bright white storefronts are accented with green and red details and photos of the chain's boyish founder. The simple menu focuses on standard pies and chicken-centric specialty pizzas--the Hawaiian BBQ, BBQ chicken, and bacon and chicken club--each topped with fresh ingredients like baby portobello mushrooms and roma tomatoes. A selection of sides includes bread sticks, cheese sticks, chicken strips and a handful of dipping sauces.
Never choose this place. I live in Brooklyn in an area where there aren't many options for late night food. This Papa John's was awful!! I've used them twice. They are always rude on the phone, take at least 2 hours to deliver and are unprofessional and aloof upon arrival. The delivery guy is usually on his cell phone delivering, talking about "hookin' up later" and grimaces at you when he doesn't get a big tip. No kidding you got a crappy tip, you took forever! One guy even honked when he was outside, not getting out of the car and complaining that he was forced to make change from our $20's. Seriously. Horrible.
Horrible Service. At 8:30 pm I completed an online order for this Papa Johns. At 9:40 I called the store to find out if the pizza was on the way. The girl who had attitude told me I need to wait 15 to 20 minutes. Because the delivery guy had lots of delivery. I accepted that and hung up with the girl. At 10:30 I made another call asking the same girl what was going on with the order. She rudely told me that I need to wait 15 to 20 more minutes again. Finally at 11:15 I called and told them to cancel the order credit my card. Finally the guy who answered mumbled an apology. At 11:45 my doorbell rang and it the delivery guy or should I say kid from Papa Johns. I told him that I called and cancelled the pizza and replied with his Sidekick in his hand "Cool, that means free food for me". I know its Pappa Johns and i live in Brooklyn but it makes no sense for service to be that Bad. Never again!
