Great party space. We went to a wedding here recently and loved it! It was perfect for a large group- homey comfort food, not too fancy, but delicious. Loved the blue cheese dip and that cherry pie!! Excellent service. Better than the food is the space-- open and light. The view is unparalleled. Overally, for NYC, great for a party.

GREAT FOR KIDS....not adults.. This is a large open space where kids are allowed to have fun, roam free (and all that encompasses) and be themselves.

There's even a great play area within. It's rare to find such a kid friendly place. That's its charm.

BUT if you're an adult without kids who goes to such places for good food and ambience the this IS NOT the place for you.

Everything here is on cruise control. No one wants to work too hard..even in the kitchen.

The food is below average and nothing to go for even though it all reads great on the menu.

So if you have kids go. They won't be able to tell how bad the food is.

But why adults without kids would want to go is beyond my mind to grasp.

Gross food, Nasty Space and over priced.. well, lets just start off by imagining a trip to your dear old homicidal grandmothers house with a larger kitchen ,5.99 chairs and 2.99 seats. Now throw in a large wooden floor 8 illegal immigrants and a warehouse and you got the floor plan of Bubby's. Now for the food,?.ok? grandma decides to puree the house cat, lay it between to halves of stale bread, diced up the last three potatoes in the fridge and served as a hamburger and home fries. The grand finally she gives you a bill for 38 dollars. All jokes aside this place would be server as a roller-skate rink , the place looks like they spent zero time on the upkeep and the food was horrendous and the service?..lets just say the waitress left in the middle of our meal and didn?t return forcing me to get the bill and return it to the cashier myself. For a 40 dollar brunch I?ll go to the dirty dinner in Williamsburg

(kellogs ) and be much happier. In closing , let this old granmother pass away in peace without your money,

Wonderful space, great location. The space is awsomw (lot's of potential) food is okay but not to die for. Staff average.

Event coordinator stinks but friendly.

Great piece of real estate I wish Icould own and do an awsome restuarant with. They are sitting on a goldmine. They should just keep the one in Tribeca and sell the one in brooklyn to someone who

use that space.. cause they are wasting it.

Best Customer Service in NYC. I was part of a party of 10 who had reservations at Bubby's Brooklyn. Well, it turned out that whole restaurant was booked for a wedding. The manager had us taken by car service to the Tribeca location where the restaurant was full, but we weren't made to wait to be seated. At the end of the meal we were told that dinner was complimentary. That was above and beyond anything that restaurant in New York would have done. I'll definitely be going back and by the way...the food was great.

best pancakes. The brunch here is excellent. I especially enjoyed the sour cream pancakes. Prepare for a long wait for your table and toddlers on the loose everywhere, but the food is well worth it.

Great brunch, slightly pricy, but it's DUMBO. the place has awsome brunch, We had a delicious egg benedict over spinach and eggs with smoked trout. The biscuits were delicious and the food was really good. It's slightly pricy but the place is right next to the waterfront park under the bridge. Its a good date place to bring on a nice afternoon or a good ambience for friends to gather.

Very disappointed. I went Bubby's Brooklyn on the recommendation of Citysearch unfortunately they were wrong. This place is not a great place for brunch. I went there on a Sunday and waited a 1-hour for a table. The service was slow and the food was below average. The homemade pie I wanted was sold out by noon. Its too bad the area does not have many other restaurants because we would have walked to another place. I have not gone to Bubbys Manhattan but I surmise theres no difference.
