The fish is first-rate and traditional. From Toro, Fresh Sea Urchin in the Shell, Spanish Mackerel to Monkfish Liver, there are few other places in Brooklyn where you can find the sheer variety of fish that Iron Chef offers. We've been coming here for that last year at least once a month. Its our favorite value for your buck destination. We always order 3-4 rolls, 2 appetizers and 2 alcoholic beverages and always end up paying around $60 tax included. The portions are larger than some other sushi restaurants we've been to and the service is always top notch. It's a cute, cozy place that would be great for a first date.

Personally I am quite picky about sushi rice, and personally I feel that Iron Chef haven't mastered the technique yet. However if you are not as picky about the rice, they do a decent job otherwise. I recommend seared tuna or sashimi for appetizer.

Husband and I stopped by for lunch and were received rather poorly by the wait staff. Food was good, but it doesn't make up for the service. Next time, we'll go to Hibino.
