The Rudest Beauty Service. So i wanted to get a quick, inexpensive haircut in the area and decided to go to Friends. My mom and some of my friends have gone there and this wasn't my first time there either. I walked in there without an appointment, which is usually ok for that type of place and asked if they had time to fit me in. It didnt matter to me who did my hair because they all basically do the same work. They got me in quick which was good, but this is where it goes to $#*! The guy seeing me either had a stick up his butt or didnt feel like doing my hair. He said, "what would u like?!" with a snotty tone so i said "layers" and so on. He was rude and barely said one word to me. He spent about 5-6 minutes cutting my hair which i don't consider that a proper amount of time considering the fact that i have more than the average amount of hair. With the help of an assitant he dried my hair with a nasty look because i guess others, who are regulars, were waiting. At this point they were done with me and i went to pay. They charged me $70 for a crappy haircut and dry. I was there about 6 months ago, got the same service, with a smile and they charged me $40. I payed but was really upset, i couldnt believe they charged me so much more. I guess its really my fault, i guess i should have said something but didnt. Regardless, i have never been treated with such disrespect. I was a client there and should be treated well. Its a place thats considered to make u feel pampered and beautiful and not feel like an inconvenience because I walked in. If there was no time to fit me in, I would've understood, but since they did fit me in there's no reason for such rude service. I was sort of happy with the way that he dried my hair but upset with the cut and the price. I tipped him and the assistant who was grateful but of course he didnt even say THANK YOU. I'd expect more from a local place that primarily makes their money from locals. I DONT recommend this place and will never go back there again.
