“Or in case you are just passing by and feel like some coffee and desert this place would not disappoint you.”
“Or in case you are just passing by and feel like some coffee and desert this place would not disappoint you.”
“The only negative thing is that our family loves the food and service so much that for every occasion we end up at this restaurant.”
“I've been going to this place for over 5 years and the staff has always been very friendly, polite, and ready to make helpful suggestions if you ask them for some guidance regarding their menu.”
“XO is a great place with a vast variety of food to pick from.”
“Great customer service!”
“so great, and the service was too slow and not attentive; we were waiting for our orders for over 40 minutes, and when they came in, one of them was missing.”
Really SLOW service and below average food. We went there on Sat afternoon and we were the only table in the whole place, so it was really strange for me to watch all servers walking back and forth million times, pass by our table and not pay any attention whatsoever. We had to wait for our food for 45 minutes (by the time we got it, I was not even hungry any more). We had to waive hands asking for the check and waive another time asking to come back and charge the card. The whole visit took almost 2 hours and the food was not good either. Do not recommend, unless you want to spend there all day..!
X O Crepery.
I would call it Crappery:) If you don't know what is russian service go there and find out....
We had to wait just for water at least half hour - we had to ask / reminde 3 times. Personnel not nice at all. Food, well, I ordered ham crepes with 3 cheeses - it was so salty.... I could not finish it, hardly ate half.
Just one tiny bathroom??? Yakk. I highly do not recommend this place.
Decent food, slow service, watch out for the auto tip 10%. My girlfriend and I went here after eating dinner at a great sushi spot down the street. We came in for desert. We ordered the mixed berry crepe and the bananas foster crepe with 3 scoops of ice cream. The service staff seemed to try but none that came into contact with us knew subtlties of politeness. Maybe it was a language barrier. The crepes were delicious but the bananas foster was not close to what bananas foster should be, which is banana, brown sugar, butter, rum and cinnamon. Their version was banana, chocolate, a little brown sugar, wrapped in a crepe and drizzled with raspberry sauce. It was great but not really what I expected. Then the bill came and we paid. Little did we know that we were charged an automatic gratuity of 10% without the server letting us know. Very Upset, because we tip well (15%-20%+ based on our experience.) We felt it was decieving to be charged a tip without any knowledge.
Great outdoor and indoor dining. This place is just lovely. Its in abit pof an unusual spot being that it is on the second floor of a twos tory shopping plaza right next to loehmanns but it doesnt ruin this place one bit. The decor inside the restaurant ismoody, exotic, and cool. The flor to ceiling front wndows give you a view out onto the the bay and in the summertime their outdoor cafe is the bets for outdoor dining in brklyn. After the decor gets you the food will reel you in for good. Fresh food, served quickly by extremely attentive and professional waiters who go out fo their way to actually serve the fod onto your plate. Try the pepper crusted tuna with wasbai mashed potatoes ad anything else on the menu and ouw ont be dissapointed.
