This was taken over by new owners and renamed to Bar Vendetta. Now they have different events (comedy, music, DJ) and always have good music!.
I've never been to the former incarnation of this bar as it's referred to on citysearch. However, from what I've heard, they've cleaned this place up quite a bit. There's a huge garden out back where 20 people can comfortably lounge around and enjoy any one of the 10 beers on tap.
Bar Vendetta offers a different scene from the other Red Hook bars in that they offer a variety of entertainment on different nights with a comedy night on Friday, a DJ on Wednesday night ($5 pitchers) and an open mic/talent night on Mondays. On the other nights of the week, you can always go in and have a cold drink while listening to some good music.
