My experience at Oranta Day Spa. Let me start off by saying i am an African American woman. I am a regular at the Oranta Day Spa. I have been going there for years. I currently live in NJ and I travel one hour and a half to get to the Spa. I have tried spas close to my home and just not satisfied with the service. I always find my way back to Oranta's. I was very surprised to read a comment from a customer who had a service at Oranta. I had an appointment today for facial, massage for me and my boyfriend, full legs and BRAZILIAN WAXING. My experience today was relaxing, soothing, and pleasant, as well as satisfied with the service i was provided, as always. I have NEVER EVER experienced any disrespect. I have always been treated very well and with the up most respect from the employees and ESPECIALLY from the owner (NATASHA) of this establishment. Don't let this one review discourage you from making your own judgement. You will not be disappointed.

Don't let the great reviews fool you!. If you’re African American you might want to think twice before going to Oranta! I don’t know how this spa received good reviews. Today I went and got a Brazilian wax from Oranta spa. I bought a voucher from groupon last year and decided to use it. I arrived on time for my appointment. I was told to wait in the reception area until the room was set up. Once I entered the room, I undress from the bottom down and waited until the esthetician came into the room. From the moment the esthetician started waxing me she was complaining. She said I waited too long to get waxed and how AA hair is hard to wax due to the hair being curly. IMO no job should be too hard for an esthetician. Then she told me she wasn’t going to do a complete Brazilian b/c it would take too long and how I should come back another time. By then I was FURIOUS. She continues to complain about how I’m making her job hard for her and then says to me, waxing you is like having an abortion! YES that’s right an ABORTION! I had to ask her to repeat what she said because I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Never had I ever been so disrespected in my life at a Spa. I’ve had several waxes before and none of them was as painful both physically and emotionally as this one. Clearly this owner is inexperienced working with African American customers. I will never step foot in that spa again and I will make it my business to let other know about their poor service.

I don't go anywhere else!. I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years now. I stumbled upon this place by accident one day and haven't gone anywhere else since. The owner Natasha is a true pro! She even continually enhances her knowledge so she techniques are never out of date. I love this place! I only come here for waxing, facials, nails and massages, nowhere else. I have sensitive skin and have had many very bad experiences in the past. Never had any bad reactions here. The prices are very reasonable and the service is world class. My biggest fear is that if this best kept secret gets out, I will have to start making appointments well in advance.

Great place to go. After going to many salons in Brooklyn, I'm glad I've stumbled upon Oranta, I was hooked. Now I'm a loyal customer for the past 2 years. The staff is very friendly and service is great. After every Natasha's facial I feel like a new born. Marina's manicure and pedicure last for 2 weeks after-wards. And when I want to really treat myself I get a hot-stone massage and reflexology package. Oranta also offers a variety of other services as well, so I don't even have to think about presents for my girlfriends. I just get them a gift certificate to Oranta

Awsome place to relax. As most guys I'm not crazy about doing manicure or pedicure.However I've really enjoyed the services in Oranta spa. I'm definitely going back there again.

best facial treatments. i have been going to Oranta Day Spa for about 4 years. Previously i had tried all kind of facials everywhere in the city and park slope-brooklyn-. This is the best service and Natasha -the owner-knows about skin issues and what treatment can be customized for the client. For example, she can use three different treatments in a session and you see your skin at your best. What i like the most is that Natasha and her staff are all the time updating about new treatments, technology and products. I also tried the chocolate scrubbing and back rubbing which is very relaxing; your skinn feels so soft afterwards. I am very happy to give all this information so anyone can try and see.

The best value in Brooklyn. I really like Oranta Day Spa. I've been to many, but this one is one of the best for the value offered. It has the best service and prices. I especially like facials and mirodermabrasion here. Your face feels and looks like brand new especally when Natasha, the owner of Oranta does it. Also, the quality of product here is top notch.

Next time I am planning to try Vinatherapy, a special body wrap based on grapes. I heard it is great here also.

GREAT EXPERIENCE AT ORANTA DAY SPA. My friend recommended that I go to this spa and believe me I was not disappointed. This spa was amazing!!! Gorgeous decorations with friendly and professional atmosphere. I bought a package that included a facial with hot stone massage therapy plus a manicure and pedicure. I walked out of the spa feeling reborn? it was soooo good. The BEST facial and overall service I ever got. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I myself go there as much as I can ever since.
