dont waste your time. I live right across the street from this noisy so called lounge. I've eaten there twice and cant understand why people go to this place? The rice was always hard and the stew chicken always tasted as though the chef cleaned the chicken with his arm pits. In addition, they always seem to keep the front doors open for the entire neighborhood to hear there music in full blast & on certain days, some drunk singing kareoke at 2AM in the morning. Also, about once a month, someone always gets into it outside. Such an inappropriate place and the owner isnt considerate to the surrounding neighbors. If you want to experience a real lounge, go to the APT in Manhattan.

Nice vibe, good food take aa friend or go alone. You won't be sorry. There are always pleasant and mature people to socialize with. My favorite is the Coconut Shrimp done to order. Never mind the wait once you try them you'd fall for this every time, The drinks are Ok for a none drinker thought I'm not the best critic for that area of social outings. Any night of the week is good for stopping in to unwind. I like the atmosphere not a child pleaser but for the mature more sophisticated socialite. Come out and give Sip&Chat a Shot.

BEST FOR JUST CHILLING. I GO THERE ALMOST EVERY WEEKEND WITH MY BOYFRIEND ,, TO THE POINT WERE WE WALK IN AND THEY NO WHAT WE ARE HAVEING ,, THE FOOD IS OK ,, WE REALLY LIKE THE BBQ CHICKEN WINGS AND SHRIMP FOR REAL,, MUSIC IS GREAT ,,BAR STAFF AND SERVICE IS AWSOME ,, WE NEVER HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS ...GREAT LOCATION BUT HARD TO FIND PARKING ,,, VERY MATURE CROWD ..AS FOR DOWNSTAIRS AFTER YOU EAT YOU CAN ALWAYS GO DOWN STAIRS AND SHED OFF THE FOOD ,,, AND TRUST ME THE DJ REALLY GETS U DANCEING ,, IT CAN GET A BIT CROWDED AND REALLY HOT ,, SO LADIEDS DONT WEAR TO MUCH OF ANYTHING..LOL...

A gem for that part of the neighborhood. I lived around the corner from here and it was always my first choice when thinking about a place to take my friends, not only because of the proximity but the atmosphere. Only problem, don't go hungry you always have at least a 30 minute wait for food. The food is not always the best in taste. You can get far better food elsewhere. The drinks are not very pricey and the bar staff are usually friendly.

Then for a really good time you can go downstairs for the dance party, but be warned it gets crowded down there on the weekends so expect to dance in small corners and wear light clothes.

Hot Spot. I wouldn't recommend dining there. The rice was hard and the jerk chicken wasn't very tasty.

It's a mixed crowd anywhere from mid 20's - 40's (maybe even older). You can always expect good music when you go to the dance downstairs... a mixture of reggae, soca, r&b, and hip-hop. Ladies expect to sweat out your hair if your staying long; it's very hot and crowded.

Men are respectable... nobody has ever grabbed at me for a dance.

Drinks are good, strong and fairly priced.
