“TERRIBLE- lies, late delivery, bad service”
“of course marine plywood is very expensive.”
BRIAN NEEDS TO BE STOPPED.
we ordered expensive marine plywood cabinets only to realize weeks after the 8 month late delivery, that
they are a cheap veener over chip board. of course marine plywood is very expensive. the samples were nice though!
it would take me hours to tell this story, it had so much brian drama, right down to insulting my wife, and stealing my money and leaving me kitchenless for longer than we knew possible.
he's a bastard psychopath. avoid garfield and brian at all costs.…

How to get your bathroom delivered/installed?.
It seems that everyone here has had a bad experience with Brian. My husband and I ordered a bathroom vanity from him and paid upfront. It was meant to be delivered and installed in mid-December but
we are always chasing Brian to set up an appointment.
Every appointment we have had has been postponed because either the bathroom wasn't delivered yet to his showroom or because the worker wasn't available.
Their office is almost always closed except for a few hours here and there.
Are they going out of business or is this normal behaviour?
How did everyone get their work done by them? What can we do to get him to do install the bathroom?
Thanks.…
Out of business?. I just heard that Brooklyn Kitchen is out of business. Is that true?
NIGHTMARE ON 5TH AVENUE.
I placed an order with Brian for a vanity and medicine cabinet on August 29, 2008! He initially told me that they would be ready in two weeks. I waited about a month before I started calling him
because I had not heard anything about my order. For the next several months he called me repeatedly to set up “delivery dates” but never delivered the merchandise. His partner inadvertently told me one day that they didn’t even have the merchandise yet. In other words, Brian had been lying to me for months. The vanity was finally delivered on January 6, 2009 after giving me a small rebate on the price (which I had paid up front). I thought the medicine cabinet couldn’t be far behind. I WAS WRONG. As of November 5, 2009, I STILL HAVEN’T RECEIVED THE MEDICINE CABINET even though Brian calls me every week to set up the delivery. Brian told me several months ago that he would discount the price of the cabinet but the credit has yet to show up on my credit card even though I have brought this to his attention several times. Brian is a pathological liar. He seldom returns calls. This business should be avoided at all costs. The other negative reviews are absolutely correct. This place is truly a nightmare.
UPDATE: Brian called me two weeks ago (early December now) to tell me that his delivery driver had picked up my cabinet and was on his way to my house. I was skeptical because I had received dozens of calls like this in the past. Sure enough, there was no delivery and no telephone call to tell me why. I went to the store to confront Brian about this (because when you call him on the phone he merely says "I'll get back to you"). I met another disgruntled customer at the store who was also complaining about merchandise that wasn't delivered. I told the other customer that I had been waiting for a delivery since August, 2008. The customer told me that he was "in the same boat". Brian tried to get rid of the customer by telling him that his merchandise would be delivered that day (boy have I heard that one before). The customer was so irate that he insisted on waiting in the store "all day" until the merchandise was delivered. Brian is the only person working in the office right now. It seems that they are going out of business and the others have been let go. If you must do business with him, here are some suggestions: (1) never make full payment in advance, (2) insert a guaranteed delivery date in the contract so you have an out, and (3) keep a record of your dealings with Brian and confirm all discussions in writing. Brian talks a good game but if they go out of business you will probably lose all of your money.…
