“This little take-out sushi joint is fantastic - while more expencive than others, they always have consistent great quality fish, make fun special rolls, and deliver within 10-15 minutes.”
“Always fresh fish”
“Clean place, friendly staff, and an interesting & creative variety of rolls.”

Yum!. Was never a sushi fan but this restaurant is to die for! I've been here a few times and have always had very pleasant experiences. Last time, I had the california rolls, tempura and sipped on some tyku sake. I'll be back many more times.…
Good sushi in Boerum/Cobble Hill. Nice presentation, nice ambience, very good sushi. It doesn't compare to some of the great Manhattan sushi places, but it's definitely some of the best quality on Smith Street - especially compared against its compeitor Kyoto across the street, which is no good (unfortunately, because Kyoto's owner is nice enough guy).…
Favorite Hangout. This is a great restaurant. My girlfriends and I eat here at least twice a week. While I've eaten at both their locations, I like the decor of the 7th Avenue location best. I always get sushi and it's sooo artistically presented that I admire it for a few seconds before tucking in. The waitstaff is professional and personable too.…
CAUTION -- FOOD MADE ME SICK. I just got into sushi about a year ago. I had been to Kiku about 8 times, and was satisfied every time. However, the first (and last) time I ate at the new location on 7th Ave, I got horribly sick. I had the "symptoms" of food toxicity every 10-15 minutes for 5 hours. I missed two and a half days of work, and was fearful that I was going to have to go to the hospital for dehydration, as I couldn't keep any liquids down. I called Kiku, and they first blamed it on something else I had eaten -- and I informed them that Kiku was all I had eaten that day, and my friend who I ate with also got sick. They did nothing to rectify the situation. I was told the owner would call me, and they never did. The scariest part? I got vegetarian sushi. How it got contaminated, I have no idea. I couldn't find anywhere to report them, so this is the only way I can let potential patrons know. Please, beware.…
Editorial Review. Rolls and sashimi rep the usual sushi fare at this Windsor Terrace spot.
