Best sushi in Brooklyn. If you love Nobu, you'll love this place.. Nobu quality fish (and overall menu) at less than half the price. Nouvelle is far better than its closest competition for high quality sashimi in Brooklyn, Blue Ribbon. My personnel favorites are the Yellow Tail jalapeno; Rock Shrimp Tempura; Tuna Pizza; Pink Panther roll; and Miso Black Cod. Also go for the calamari and the 3 Star Sashimi. Great drinks, especially the Key Lime Pie martini. Service could be better, but this place would have lines down the block if it was in Manhattan. I go there several times a month and can't get enough of their food.

Nobu meets Bayridge. The food is terrific. Many of the menu items are similar to Nobu, but much less expensive. I enjoy eating at many of the best sushi places in Manhattan and this rivals all of them in the food department. The black miso cod, pink panther roll, and the tuna pizza will definitely make your taste buds sing! The decor is a little to be desired, but could be described as cheap chic. If you want great food and great cocktails (don't miss the key lime pie martini), this is the place for you. If you like the food at Nobu, but not the prices then you should definitely try it!

Fraudulent Voting - Not even Top 1000 Restaurant. This place is a joke! No way, this place is top 10 Sushi in NYC. Fraudulent VOTING by owners. It's not even a Japanese Restaurant. It's one of those Combo restaurants that aren't good at one thing, let alone 2.Terrible Quality that couldn't match the the weakest Manhattan restaurant. No creative dishes and lack of knowledge by the Staff, told me that they weren't even Japanese. Just another low budget, Chinese/Korean owned Japanese restaurant in Brooklyn. If this is Top 10 and it's struggling in Bayridge, what does that tell you about Citysearch's ranking? All Fraud Votes!

AVOID!! i dont care how nice the damn place is, but the food AND service wasn't all that great. thumbs DOWN!. i was generous enough to rate this place a 1...but i absolutely hated this place and i dont understand why people either love it or like it. the food wasnt ALL that awesome compared to other places for the same price! theres are tons of restaurants, with the same scenary that are 100 percent better than this crappy place. the food is just unbelievably bad. FYI, you'll find better food anywhere else than to spent your time eating at this place! i acutally trusted the reviews so i'm just being honest myself and sharing my opinion! once i heard it was a french asian fusion place, i was erie about it cuz asian fusion restaurants are just plain bad!...i highly recommend you DON'T eat at NOUVELLE!

Good Fusion, Tacky Decorating. Loved the food, the service was decent, the inside was like being in a 1980's disco, i could live without that, but he outdoor garden seating is beautiful. wait till the summer and take the food outside

Unbelievable decor & awesome plating!. My family and I recently came here for a small birthday celebration and it was amazing! The food was delicious, the cocktails weren't weak and the decor is breathtaking! I've been to many asian fusion restaurants but this one is definately the place to go. I was surprised that it wasn't packed though but it may have a lot to do with their location...if this place was in the village they would be packed every night. We ordered a very healthy amount of food and nothing disappointed although we wished each dish was a wee bit larger. I'll definately be back to do mini celebrations here.

Sushi. This place has got great sushi. The chefs are very sophisticated and definately recommend some great dishes and fishes. It has beautiful decor, very modern and chic. Definately recommended.

Amazing Sushi, Service and Atmosphere. Aside from having three fun and tasteful atmospheres, the service here is great. The waiters really seem to care about what I want and the food is just AMAZING. The Mojitos are the best I've had!! I went there just last week with three of my friends and we had a GREAT time! Mission 05 is definately the appetizer to get! And if it is open, sit at the Patio, its so beautiful and traditional! This is definately the place to be in all of Bay Ridge!!!

Asian Fusian - Manhattan quality, Brooklyn Prices!!!. What a great spot. Very trendy decor. Sushi is amazingly fresh and creative. Interesting menu and also great cocktail selection. Discovered this place by accident and I sure will be back. Was in BayRidge and remembered going for sushi at Bamboo which used to be there before, but Nouvelle is 10 times better. Its very hard to find a great Asian-Fusion place that is easy on a wallet. Google nouvellerestaurant for their site and menu.

The only downside is that waiters appear to be not very experienced. Hopefully that will improve.

absolutely loved it!. great place, food is amazing!!! very highly recommend! steak was soooo good, and mission 05 (appetizers) was amazing!!
