Brooklyn >Body Art Studios
“The tattoo artist there Peter is so nice and professional, and made me feel very comfortable.”
“Pete is very professional, and made this experience all worth while.”
Really good artist.
I though about my tattoo for year. When I finally decided to go ahead with it I wanted someone with lots of experience. Someone with years and years of experience and a really good artist. I found both at Body Art Studios.
Peter, the owner and artists, came highly recommended. He is only by appointment, which is definitely a plus. I didn't have to take a number at the counter, and I was not handed off to another artist. The studio is private, and very modern. His work is phenomenal, truly unique.
If you want quality work Body Art Studios is definitely the place.
Body Art Studios Best place for people looking for Great Tattoos (other).
Peter Cavorsi's art work is awesome, he's a little pricey but its worth it, you won't find any other tattoo place like his. His place is very clean and put together . he actually cares about what you put on your body.
if its something you'll regret he won't do it for you and i admire that. other artist wouldn't give two sh*t's about you, only your money.
I'm 18 and got my first tattoo done by him, i wanted it on my arm but he wouldn't do it
because of job interviews etc, so i ended up getting it on my right hip and i love it.
He's the only person i would go to get my tattoos, i don't trust anyone else.
and for "diggins down there- he did my very first tattoo and he couldnt have been more nice to me.
Best tattoo shop ever. Body Art Studios is a beautiful and clean tattoo shop. Peter does great work and is very original. I highly recommend getting ink from him. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get a tat.
Amazing custom work from talented and professional artist.
I take exception to the nastiness written by the sole one star reviewer. Far from an "ahole", Peter Cavorsi is a very nice, considerate guy. He makes sure his client is comfortable and has no problem with stopping if you're not. He makes that clear before he starts, giving you an out if you need it.
My husband and I weren't exactly covered when we went to Peter the first time. In fact, we were each there to get only our 2nd tattoos. I don't think that had any bearing at all on the way we were treated. About the worst thing I can say about the first experience is that Peter was a bit standoffish. I asked about custom work and he told us he only does this for regular clients, which is typical.
The second time my husband went alone and got a superior quality portrait. Peter matched the face exactly, and his flash is great in general, so I knew I wanted him to design my backpiece.
I gave him the concept and he ran with it. I just finished my second sitting on Friday and I'm thrilled. 6 hours so far, about 2.5 to go, and the entire thing has been as comfortable as possible. Not to mention the work is amazing and designed just for me.
This guy is excellent, and it's hard to find excellent in Brooklyn.
Work is maybe ok, but peter is a total ahole. So yeah his work maybe good, but he charges $200 an hour and is a full on pr*ck. I understand the whole Tat scene and it's all about being special and unique and living by your own rules but why deal with an ahole with a monster ego who aparently does so well with his business that he can act like a d*ck to "normal" people who come in looking to check him out. Peter is the typical example of the misunderstood artist who has devoted his life to his art, brooding dark and too cool to be bothered by a newbie to the body art world. Bravo you are a fine example of the stereo typical tat artist and real j*rk off.
Fantastic artist. Peter's work speaks for itself. When you check out his website, you'll see that he is an incredible artist. His website can't convey how kind, personable, and professional he is as well. I would refer anyone to him, including anyone terrified of getting his first tattoo.
Great Tattoo, Wonderful Experience.. It's taken me more than a year to decide the perfect tattoo, and the perfect location to have this done. I live in Bay Ridge, and when doing my research I decided to stop by Body studio. I must say the shop is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. The work as the previous person wrote isnt the cheapest, but then again a good tattoo isnt cheap, and a cheap tattoo isnt good. Pete is very professional, and made this experience all worth while. I will definately return for a piercing or so. :-)
Best tattoo shop anywhere. Anyone interested in getting great tattoo work done should go to Body Art Studios. I've gotten tattoo work done in other places, but none compare the the tattoos I've gotten at Body Art. The tattoo artist there Peter is so nice and professional, and made me feel very comfortable. The shop looks more like an art gallery than a tattoo shop, and Peter is by far the best tattoo artist I've ever seen.
