Quality Thai restaurant. I've been getting lunch from Khao Sarn for a few months now (just started working in Williamsburg) and I've yet to have a bad experience. The food and prices are really good when you consider what Thai food in Brooklyn usually is. The squid pad see ew is amazing, and the rest of the menu is on the upper tier of the Thai I've had throughout New York. If you choose to eat it there, the owner is a very friendly guy who strikes up conversation with customers.
Best value in W-burg. Great, simple thai food, nice place, very friendly, very affordable
The Best Thai!. it's always delicious! My roommate and I go whenever we can- our favorites are the drunken noodle and the fresh roll and the curry puff. The wait staff is super nice and attentive. I've tried all the thai places on Bedford Ave and this one is by far the best. They also have great vegetarian options!
Pretty Damn Good. I am a Thai Food snob and let me tell you...I truly enjoyed my meal here last night. I've traveled to Thailand and think I've found some of the best Thai in the city to satisfy my cravings. I won't say Khao Sarn is the best...but it's pretty damn good. We didn't try the Pad Thai like the previous reviewer, but we had the Thai dumplings with chicken, shrimp, water chestnuts and onions...so good. We liked the Larb chicken. But the true test...curries...we had shrimp with red curry and duck in green curry...both were fantastic. I enjoyed every bite. We also ordered a Thai fried rice with shrimp and again --it was great. The service was sweet and attentive as well. This isn't a fancy spot focused on decor, but it's cute. Either way, I'll be going back. Some of the best thai in Williamsburg without question.
Don't waste your money. skip it. the pad thai tastes like it was cooked in old filthy oil the curry puffs were soggy and had no flavor besides that from the grease. the chicken was tougher than one can hardly chew. try Tai Thai. much much better.
