Hype. Ok, I can't help but feel that all the reviews on here were written by people who have some sort of part in the restaurant. I mean even the best restaurants in the city have bad reviews and all of a sudden some hole in the wall on Ocean Parkway in BK gets awesome reviews, BS! It's average not great and not so bad. It's just like any other fast food susi place and just like any other russian restaurant on Brighton Beach. So, please, do not believe these bogus reviews that claim this to be the greatest place on earth because I will bet any money that they, indeed, have been written by the owners of the place.

BEST RESTAURANT IN BROOKLYN. WOW WOW WOW. My husband and I accidentaly stumbled upon this gem!!!! I can't believe gourment food and great service exists in brooklyn, but it does!!!! MUST TRY: signature lardon salad. This restaurant has it all, fabulous atmosphere, helpful waiters, very fresh unique, cutting edge food, with a great presentation. The chef came out to greet everyone. You feel like you are dining at a 5 star restaurant in the city. Be sure to sit in their outside area if the weather permits. The cool breeze coming from the ocean sets a perfect mood for a great saturday night with house music playing in the background and all the beautifull people enjoying the best that life has to offer!!!!

My favorite place ot eat out with girlfriends.. Awsome place to eat out. There is a lot of variety in the food and all of it is great. Great service: the waiters are hot and make you feel part of the restaurant by joking around. Next time you go there ask for Barman's Fantasy Cocktail. Ladies, leave your men at home and go grab some great food and fun conversation with your girlfriends at Riviera Grill and Sushi.

Awesome Service and Phenomonal Food; A Must for New Yorkers of Any Borrough. First off, I don't really traverse out to Brooklyn very often so my first reaction to my friends "dragging" me out to Brooklyn was "Why me?". I'm glad that I was "dragged" out because the staff at Riviera Grill and Sushi were great. We were seated pretty quickly considering how busy the place was. We had a great time there because the service was so swift and accomadating.

But that doesn't make a great restaurant, the food does, and that was excellent. I actually love sushi and have eaten some pretty good sushi before, and I can honestly say this is some of the best that I've had in quite some time. For starters, I had the Greek Salad which was a great way to start, the goat cheese really prepared my palette for the seafood that was to come.

I had Monster King Crab Legs, and my friends had the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail and Lump crab meat shaker. And of course we shared and sampled each other's dishes. It was absolutely delicious, really fresh and well prepared. I don't drink so I can't really help with the wine menu, sorry guys.

I'm also a simple guy so when it came time to pick a desert I kept it simple and went with the New York Cheesecake with a Strawberry topping and it really helped cap off a great meal. I highly recommend for any New York to make the trip out to this place it's well worth it.

Food to die for. First things first, the treatment was astonishing as soon as you walk thro the doors. The service is beyond words, fast and with quality. We ordered one of the newest hot appetizers ?Soft Shell Crab in Hollandaise souse? Considering that I?m not a big sea food fan I could not get enough. For sushi we were recommended to try Tony Roll, Johnny Roll and Crazy Eel Special Roll, they were huge 3 rolls for two people was more then enough. Every roll was melting in my mouth; I can actually say that I have never had any thing like this before. After that I ordered ?Veal Osso Bucco? the meat was melting, it was so soft I didn?t even had to chew it, it was served with cous cous and mushrooms. My friend ordered ?Red Snapper Filet? it looked delicious and it was when I took a piece to try, it was served with wield rice. For dessert we had one of the new mousses called ?Black Courant? Delicious. The atmosphere was so great that me and my friend didn?t want to leave, we had such a great time that before I left I made a reservation for Saturday to bring my mother, and already told most of my friends.
