“Great massage, great price”
Fantastic Little Place. What made this place unique was the ora you felt as soon as you walked in. I felt calm and soothe and I hadn't even got to the massage part. I immediately felt both owners were professional and knew this profession well. (You could just tell when watching the others guest before me leave. The expression on their faces told it all.) This was my first experience however, it was just as I imagine. My sister treated me here and I am every so thankful!! My session was AMAZING and I am here to spread the word!! I am going to treat myself to another session each month if I have it to spear.
Excellent massage. I love Opal. The atmosphere is serene and the massages are excellent. My husband and I both go here over any other spa we have tried.
Great massage, great price. I am a frequent spa visitor and get massages once-twice a month. I tried several other spas in NYC during spa week, but always come back to Opal. Their loyal clients book appointments ahead, but sometimes I do get an appointment on the same day. I like the fact that this place is not a spa meaning no facials, manicures etc. just GREAT massages.
One of the best massages I've ever had. ...and I've had quite a few from some of the best places in NY. No, I don't work there, no I'm not friends with the owners. I just know good massage, and let me tell you, these therapists know what they're doing. My husband and I have both had massages there -- me, a few weeks after I had my twins, and my husband, a few months after (he needed it almost as much as I did.) It's very small, cozy and quiet. You'll feel calmed quickly after entering. The therapists don't make a lot of unnecessary small talk, which I love - but they'll listen - carefully - to what you do and don't need. It's hard to get anyone on the phone for an app't - the machine almost always picks up - but they call you back promptly when they're out of session. I seriously recommend this for a good massage.
