Nice Brooklyn-Esque Shop, Interesting Atmosphere. I am reviewing this little Park Slope shop as one my girlfriends favorite places in the area. Some of their designs can be a little scandalous, but that's not bad all the time! I visited this boutique after a trip there with my girl around x-mas time. A mental picture of the item on my list was all I arrived with, but luckily, the salesperson took the time to help me pick out the "difficult" stuff. I recommend this place to all of our out-of-state friends when they come to visit.

Nice but not amazing. I went to 4 Play Clothing shop in Brooklyn after reading the first and only review posted on this site. I'm a bargin shopper and so what the author wrote got my attention. I was a bit disappionted and what disappionted me was the cost of the items. Bargins for items such as the ones 4 Play carries should range between $10 - $15 dollars but 4 Play's numbers are far beyond that. 4 Play clothing shop in is difinately one of cutest shops in the Park Slope area but the prices are not what I think most young shoppers would consider to be cheap. The clothing is cute but the same exact pieces can be found at other locations throughout the city for a fraction less and in those locations a person can truly find bargins.

Just what the slope needed.... I wish 4Play had been open when I was in high school. I like to think of it as the great equalizer of Park Slope clothing boutiques...old, young, skinny, not-so-skinny, everyone can find something there...whether it be a pair of Havaianas flip flops, an Enjoy Brooklyn t-shirt for your brother or a Marilyn-monroe-esque halter dress. Plus, no one gives you attitude, unlike some other wannabe hoity-toity stores in the area.
