Brooklyn >Sisters Unisex
Very Discriminatory, Do Not Go!!. These women are the rudest people I have ever encountered in the hair industry. They are loud and talk inappropriately about their non-Spanish speaking customers and discriminate against people with natural hair versus chemically-processed hair with a strong tinge of racism at the root of it all. They are inconsistent with their prices and charge whatever they feel like charging depending on how they feel on a given day with very little regard for the service they are actually providing. There have been times when I've waited forever to find out that the girls at the wash are just taking their precious time stalling customers for no apparent reason. If you plan on being somewhere onetime, do not bank on going to Sisters because you will never get out onetime on top of being treated like a second-class citizen. Half of the time, the dryers are broken. I walked out once with my hair still damp because I had been stuck there for over 2.5 hours and almost missed an appointment. Long story short, you get what you pay for which in Sisters' case is beyond terrible customer service and vile discrimination.
AVOID SISTERS UNISEX- HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do NOT come to Sisters Unisex. Completely unprofessional, rude and incompetent, not to mention discriminatory. I went to this salon for 6 YEARS and my latest (and last) visit resulted in them being incredibly rude and inappropriate to me. They do not know what customer service is, and they will find ways to rob you of your money without any knowledge or understanding of customer loyalty.
