Great fun. I party at europa every weekend or so, and i always have fun, its a lot fo fun and a great place to party with your friends! I def recommend it.

Worst place ever!. Worst place ever! Bad Boys Blue band was scheduled to play at 9pm, at 11:30 pm still nothing! Refuse to give the money back for tickets, saw a girl being grabbed and throw down by co-owner. She landed on her face. As a reporter, I spoke with them outside the club, they placed the complain with a 94th precinct. She had bruises all over. Avoid this place like a plague!

The famed Polish nightclub now books serious rock gigs, but it hasn't lost its sense of over-the-top fun.. A stage tucked in the corner of this bi-level Greenpoint nightclub hosts ear levening acts like Sebadoh and the Mountain Goats framed in a red velvet curtain. Once the amps come unplugged, though, the floor quickly gives way to pre-gentrified crowd of young Polish locals: A DJ remixes anthems from Kool & the Gang and Toto set to neon strobe lights, and the unmistakable smell of a smoke machine wafts in the air. The only-in-New York-mix--wherein Slavic ex-pats chug Zywiec at the horseshoe-shaped bar with stray rockers from the preceding show--is Europa at its most interesting.

Hits: Not much of a velvet rope--a quick pat down and you're in.

Misses: The tap might be out if you happen to want a Zywiec beer on draft.
