OMG CRAZY BAR TENDER.
The place smelled like urine, it was humid and musty, and you are being served by a crazy bar tender. It would have been fine to hang out but some people just hate their jobs. So,
Ms. Bar Tender: I know you're life is miserable and you can't help it that you are just angry at the world.. but seriously leave your craziness at home, cause the next person you f with would not walk away. ;) .. piece of advise.

Greenpoint's youthful spot for brews and single malts..
Huge windows provide an impressive corner view for this neighborhood hangout, which features an oak bar, wooden floor beams and a pressed-tin ceiling, as well as a sidewalk cafe. In addition to a choice of 10 beers on draft, nine wines by the glass and nine single malts, the menu also offers a limited variety of pressed sandwiches. Greenpoint and Williamsburg residents in their 20s, 30s and 40s make up most of the crowd.

Very chill place. Old world pub. Great selection. Quite though interspersed with a nice tunes (geered towards the Greenpoint and W'burg crowd).

OK.
OK bar to meet for a quick drink and then move on to somewhere else. that is about it.
Other then the Guinness and the wanna be Irish that get sloppy drunk here- I would not consider this an Irish pub by any means. At least not a good one.

Not much originality overall, very average service, no food , bar has that been there done that quality- it is like 500 other bars in NY..... Woodwork is nice and good selection of beer but all in all this place is nothing special....

A REAL New York Bar!.
Greenpoint, a trendy neighborhood bordering Williamsburg, has, what my friends and I consider, a true New York Bar. From the wood floors to the tin ceiling to no tv's--it's all about drinking and talking here, folks. Great Bartenders and decent prices make this a worthwhile visit as a walk from Williamsburg or a ride on the God-forsaken G Train.
