perfect.... i love this bar so much. the jukebox is incredible, the crowd is very cool without being pretentiously hipster, and drinks aren't too expensive.

no more constant trekking to and from the LES bars in the middle of the night! i'm completely thrilled that i found an awesome, comfortable place to hang out only six tiny blocks from my front door.

jealous of the box. Great place. Drinks are inexpensive, the atmosphere is chill, and the juke box is damn near perfect. seriously.

Easy Going and Great Music. This is one of my favorite bars in New York. Great music, relaxed atmosphere, a colorful lake mural on the wall and super nice bartenders. Plus they have free pizza once a week. How can you argue with a place like that?

Make sure you're cool enough. Great looking bar, cheap drinks, but what is with all the Williamsburg nancies going here? This bar is chock full of wanky peeps coming in from other neighborhoods, and does not mesh well with the Park Slope vibe. Best to go on weeknights, on weekends the place gets invaded by the soulless fashion-sluts of Bedford Ave.

Why Is Everything Brown???. This place could be pretty cool actually. Fun Jukebox, pretty interesting people, and not even in a weird way. But why, for god's sakes, is everything BROWN?? I think a new coat of paint in there, and they could have themselves a hot spot, but until then I don't think I can stomach hanging out there.

cute pants in our 'hood. cute, unpretentious bartenders, some of whom wear cuter pants, keep things flowing and bearable even when there is no more seating to be located. besides the almost excellent jukebox (it could use more pixies albums), this place attracts a nice mix of people, from your typical indie-type from the other side of 5th avenue to your high school lab partner's grandma (seriously, some old dames were out one night!). prices are in line with other area bars, but the atmosphere is much more chill and inviting. if daisey's diner was across the street, a trip to buttermilk would be heavenly.
