Always love my hair.
I had been coming to the pad for about 5 years and an out of town job took me me out of NYC.
Very few stylists know how to work with layers, went to about 4 different ones in 2 years in DC, but now that I am back, I am once again in the safe and skilled hands of lily!
ps- I never got color done anywhere else, I only trust her with my coloring , I like drastic changes.…
DAZZLING HOLIDAY HAIR!. I've been going to the pad for a little over a year for my cuts and color.She always comes up with the best color combos for me. And the bests cuts for my thick hair as it i grows out. If I ever have to leave this city I would miss the lilypad for sure. I know my girlfriend that went back home to Seattle does! I told her I was on my way to the pad to get my hair done and she said she was sooo jealous and that now she gets not as good a job at twice the price.Quite a few of my friends now go to her. Can I tell you how affordable she is? amazing! When I was looking for a regular place to go, everything in the city and even in Williamsburg was like twice the price and the stylists were not as nice. I love the low key attitude there, I feel taken care of in a no nonsense way.Lily is a great stylist and can always tell when you need a change and Kim her assistant cut my boyfriends hair and he loves it! I can't say enough..I love these chicks!…
A Great Cut Every Time. I found Lilypad after I saw a girl on the street with the hairstyle I'd been looking for, and she said she just had her hair cut by Lily. Lily knows how to make a cut look great and last long, knows what will work with your hair type, and just might have better ideas than you do about changing things up. She's got taste you can trust and the skill to give you the cut you've asked for. I've been going to Lily for just over a year and get compliments on my hair all the time. MY BEST HAIR EVER....
This is my 3rd visit back to the pad. for my style( besides running in every few weeks for bangs trimmed). I just love it there.I like the cool relaxed-unsalon like vibe, very low-key and just what
getting your hair DID should be about! (I love the music mix there too)lol!
I love my style, I love the way she works with hair, and asked me at first how much maintenance do I put in on the day to day?(I preffer none!) yeah , a little more effort for going out. and she explained to me that 9 time out of ten people want something that their hair isn't.
Has been this past year and a half since I've discovered the pad. So she cut my hair in a way where I would only need to straighten out my bangs, really, and the rest of my hair dries naturally, This last cut lasted 5 months! and my highlites are so vibrant now, other stylist used just bleach on my hair and my hair would just get blonder and dryer, but she does something differnt every time, lily says its because my hair is different everytime (I guess, after all every 4-5 months?) that the growth will be different, she gives me choices, uses 2 or 3 colors at a time, and I always feel like a sar when I walk out of there.
My favorite part is getting there a little early and watching what she does with other people, and they look so hot and I sit there thinking- that will be me in a couple of hours!
And the price is so reasonable, I can afford to go every 2 months, but really do not need to, she is truly an artist and cuts and colors so you won't have to.
In a nutshell- great funky high end style in an unpretentiuos enviroment and that you can afford to maintain.…
Hard time communicating. After i read the reviews on city search i decided to go and try it cause i been looking for a hair cut and i just moved to NYC, the hair cut was affordable but the salon looks kind of unorganized the stylist wasn't much of a listener i told her to cut my hair a certain way and she cut way too much and i even showed her a pictures.…
