The Scene
Dim lighting, rustic wood tables and endearing details, like handprinted menus held together with wooden spoons, invite intimacy at this cozy Sardinian wine bar. Small groups of friends and romantic couples find comfort in the restaurant's down-to-earth air and bustling pace.

The Food
It's heaven for bread, cheese and cured-meat lovers. Assorted platters offer a chance to nibble on antipasti and salami; add a fresh salad of arugula, Parmesan and shaved fennel to contrast. Don't miss crostoni topped with chicken liver pâté. The tiramisu just might restore your faith in this ubiquitous dessert.

This place is very vegetarian friendly. As a vegetarian I highly recommend it. I have written a longer review on my blog. Check it out at www.urbanherbivores. The review is under the same heading as what I have here.

I stumbled into this place on a rainy weekend night when all of my usual Williamsburg spots were overrun with Hipsters, and I'm glad I did. They were about to close, but the staff was very accomodating and made me feel at home. It is very warm, cozy, and candle lit inside and gives you the feeling of an old world mom & pop place. I usually get bread & olive oil, and olives when I go to an Italian restaurant. What I got was this amazing flatbread, a chunk of the most delicous parmesan I've ever had, and some really tasty olives, not to mention the wine, which just brought together the whole experience. The staff was so warm and friendly, even though I could tell they were about to close. What a great experience, can't wait to go back!
