Great expirience!. I've been going to studio 97 for 7 years now,and I love this salon!

Stuff is always pleasant and professional.

Greate manicure and pedicure. Love the facial, microdermabrasion treatment is amazing, leaves my skin glowing.

I also do my hair there. Alex is my favorite stylist. He is very professional and gives me the most natural looking highlights that I've ever had. I came to him with a stripey yellow highlights for a color correction. He softened out the chunky highlights, added lowlights and had to put not one but two colorwashes over it to get rid of the orange. The result was great! these guy is really greate colorist. I left feeling fabulous. My hair were shiny and soft for days! I receive tons of compliments from my friends and even from

random people on the street.

I recommend this salon highly to everyone!

Awesome Experience!!!!. I am really surprised by some of these reviews. I have been coming here for at least 3 years regularly for all my services and I have had a great experience every time. The facialists are incredible. After the facial my skin always glows and I am so relaxed that I can't wait to come back (I am a surgeon so I get pretty tense). The waxing is superb and I am left with very smooth legs,bikini,etc and it lasts for a really long time. I always recommend this place to my girlfriends and they are very particular about spas so I wouldn't even mention it to them if it wasn't great. I say you would be mistaken not to go.

Sloppy, rushed haircuts. I came here for a haircut and style, and was disappointed. It wasn't professionally quality. When I described what kind of cut I wanted, the guy just said "uh huh, uh huh" and didn't really confirm with me what he was going to do. I emphasized that I wanted long layers, texturized, not too much length off. When he cut my hair, it was in long diagonal slices with his scissors--his version of layering was to just cut in slanted lines. He did no texturizing (making sure the cuts aren't too blunt) and never did touch-ups on my layers once he sliced them off. He also used brushes, not a comb, on my hair after it got washed. The brushes had hair in them from previous users which he did not bother to take out!

I brought in a picture of how I wanted my hair styled (curly/wavy for a party) and once he started styling it with a hair dryer I told him that part of how it was turning out I didn't like, and that I wanted the curls to be more wavy. Instead of trying to do something differently, he said, "that's not going happen."

All in all, I was very underwhelmed by this place. It seemed unprofessional and as though the stylists had only basic training in trimming hair, not doing layers or anything sophisticated. Don't get your hair cut here!

Best Deal in NYC. I've bee going to sutdio 97 for a few years now. Their customer service is great- not pretentious or rude. I get Brazilian and Facials there regularly. The price is unbeatable and the quality of service is great. I have been to many other salons in Brooklyn- and this 1 is the best by far. I have recommended the salon to all of my friends. Those who have tried it (and copared it to city salons)- loved it and now they are hooked as well.

Very relaxing!. I was referred to studio 97 salon by a friend. I made an appointment to get a facial and when I arrived I was greeted warmly. The facial was amazing! The products used really helped my skin. The facialist was an expert and highly professional. I would recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a relaxing time!
