“Bridge on a newly renovated pier w/a view of the beautiful NYC skyline.”
“the butter pecan was amazing and the chocolate chocolate chunk was good too!”
“The vanilla and coffee flavors are excellent, the strawberry is pretty good, but the peach flavor is disappointingly bland (you can't taste the peach).”
“Great location, friendly staff, and worth the long lines even after waiting all night to have pizza at nearby Grimaldi's.”
“The selection of flavors was excellent and, upon tasing the strawberry cone that I chose, I promptly gave up my membership in the "Hagen Daz is the best ice cream ever" club.”
“The chocolate was good, but the peaches and cream and strawberry were basically basic grocery store ice cream.”
“People looking for high class snooty service don't even bother coming down.”
“waited in a line 150 people deep for this ice cream and what I got was a good quality ice cream cone but I didn't think it was worth the long wait.”

Ciao Bella Now Uses Fillers in their Ice Cream!. Diasppointed to see that many (all? - we had their chocolate and triple espresso) of their ice creams now use - Guar Gum - Locust Bean Gum - Carrageenan all at the same time. Yikes! We loved the ice cram they make, but now won't touch it. Had some lately and wondered why it tasted funny. Then we read the list of ingredients. Looks like the expansion of their business drove a once great brand to focus more on profits than on the quality that got them to the top.…
Lines are ridiculous. Waited over an hour to get 6 scoops of ice cream (vanilla chunk, choco chunk, butter pecan, peaches & cream - they were out of strawberry). Honestly, the ice cream tasted just like what you would get from Coldstone. It was good ice cream, but definitely not worth waiting for an hour in the basking sun. Plus, the owner should really put more servers (there were only 2) esp. since there were about 100 people in line for most of the day!…
Good Ice Cream But Not Worth The Wait. I waited in a line 150 people deep for this ice cream and what I got was a good quality ice cream cone but I didn't think it was worth the long wait. I would challenge anybody to take a blind taste test and see if they could pick out the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory ice cream out of some other local contenders. Still, the strawberry ice cream I had was ultra fresh tasting with a bounty of strawberries. I also sampled the peaches and cream and this ice cream would be perfect for a warm summer evening. All in all, it's still just ice cream but if you are willing to endure a long wait, this is one ice creamery to definitely try.…
Great ICE CREAM. Better off going during the Fall or Winter. The line is too long to wait. They only have two to three people working there at all times. NEED TO GET SOME MORE HELP IN THE SUMMER! The location is great with the pier being right there. The view is out of this world. This summer I was there 3 times and only that one day that it was windy and cloudy i was able to try your ice cream. It was good.…
Just "okay" ice cream....with a million-dollar view. Had to venture out to this place I heard so much about....though, odd that the "locals" couldn't tell me where it was located.....I had to ask a UPS driver! The scoops were $3.25/ea. I, too, had the Peaches & Cream. I must've had a good batch, 'cause I tasted plenty of peach. But, with all the hype...it was just "okay"...nothing to write home about. The view outside is what took our breath away...and really made it worth the hike down there. Go to Blue Pig on Henry Street...also in Brooklyn...for really good scoops.…
