Williamsburg Hair aims to create a full-service salon that doesn't discriminate. Hairdressers speak Spanish and Italian in addition to English, while flags from around the world hang on the walls, welcoming everyone. A Brooklyn Styles sign, left by a previous tenant, still glows in the front window, confusing some about the name.

Finally, equality! Williamsburg Hair offers services at the same prices for men and women. Cuts start at $15 and deep conditioning starts at $10. Bang trims or hairline trims, for those who want to freshen up between cuts, are only $3 each. And boys, if you're feeling nostalgic for your dad's barber shop visits, get a shave for $5. If your budget is really tight, a wash and cut Monday through Wednesday is a mere $7.95.
