Yay for Bodhi Salon!!!!. I love you Bodhi Salon! I have been going here for 4 years. I have never cheated on them, always stayed faithful as Jean-Marc and Adeline are my favorite. I had my hair cut and colored 2-3 weeks ago and those first 2 days after I had it done, I swear 30 people complimented on it. If you have short hair know that Jean-Marc can do amazing things for you, I have been to many salons prior, in the city (I'm not naming any names), that were not as skilled and never made me look as good as Bodhi Salon does.

They will always do what makes you look good. They listen to what you want and follow through EVERYTIME! Why else would I have been coming here for years?!?! Adeline really knows her color (I mean REALLY knows it) Jean-Marc is an artist, he has so many tools and uses all of them. Him and Adeline also know what products are best to use, best to mix together, etc They're always up to date and informative.

Enzo, their Australian Shepherd, he's the sweetest, you'll want to take him home with you, I do every time I visit. The price is reasonable for the high quality of service you'll receive, it's a win win situation, you would be crazy not to check this place out!

Smile, You're Hair is Now Fabulous!!!!!. First, you will be greeted in a friendly, professional manner by both human and adorable dog. Then, enjoy a massaging hair wash to revitalize your scalp. You will then move over to the chair of your Oh So Amazing Stylist, aka. Hair Genius! For me it was Jean-Marc. He listened to my concerns and knew just what to do. When I inquired as to appropriate styling products, he lead me in the right direction. It was the first time I walked out of a salon feeling my style was current and not an old fashioned, basic cut and blow. I waited 3 weeks before posting this to ensure exceptional growth and styling endurance and I am still pleased overall. The quality of my hair has dramatically improved thanks to my unique cut and great new products. I now tell everyone to check out this salon and just know they will not be disappointed! I can't wait to go back for some beautiful coloring :)

Amazing salon, incredible hairstylist. Raves for Jean-Marc, who gave me an incredible cut and restored my locks from dry and brittle to soft and swinging. His amazing blow-out added to his magic makeover...so lucky to have found this jewel of a salon.

Great haircut!. I made my first visit to this salon a couple days before Easter of this year. It definitely will not be my last! I was greeted by a very friendly staff and got my hair cut by Marc. He engaged me in conversation and very importantly asked exactly what I wanted done with my hair. I told him about a prior bad haircut where my bangs were cut too short, and he made it a point to not cut off too much. My hair looks so beautiful and healthy. If you're looking for a Manhattan quality salon without Manhattan prices, this is the place to go!

Unbelievale amazing salon!!. I have searched Brooklyn for a friendly, fashionable, amazing salon and found it in Bodhi. I have never been treated nicer by total strangers. I walked in and was listed to as well as given advice about my new style. I was given tips on how to take care of my new fabulous look and felt like royalty while I was in the chair. I will never go to another salon again. The service was remarkable. This place a fun down to earth style with wonderful staff from the woman who washes your hair, to the stylist, to the owners. Hands down incredible. Thank you Bodhi for my new look! Everyone loves it.

Find the style that brings out the best in YOU. Bring your ideas to Bodhi and the stylists are eager to put together a look that will compliment your features - one that you can make work in your day to day life. Mariya was my hair stylist and she was very enthusiastic about her work, and offered helpful advice on how to manage my hair. My color turned out vivacious and the style had a pleasantly natural appeal. Highly Recommended.

terrific haircut. This is the first really good haircut I've had for years.

I was lucky enough to get an appointment the day I called.

These are lovely, talented people, with great senses of humor. And, their beautiful dog, Enzo, who hangs out with them in the salon. I highly recommend them. Very experienced, bright, interesting.

Loving my Locks!. After a year of not getting a haircut, my locks were in desperate need of attention. I gave Jean-Marc creative license to work his magic and we were both très heureux (very happy...if my French is correct) with the results! I highly recommend this salon and almost don't mind paying the ridiculous tolls to get there from NJ.

Loyal client. I've been going to Bodhi Salon for almost three years now, and have been pleased with everything they've done for my hair, from cuts to Brazilian straightening to highlights. I have to disagree with the reviewer who said not to go here for blonde-- I've always been really happy with the color I've gotten here!

This is a really laid-back, no-attitude, yet very professional salon. Highly recommended!

Not recommended for blond highlights. I was attracted to the salon by its website and the fact that it is owned and operated by a husband and wife. They and their staff were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the blond highlights I received were awful. They were brash and trashy-- super blond, the kind of blond that turns after a few shampoos; I think bleach must have been used, because I have since had much breakage and many split ends; the highlights were thick and not spaced out well; worst of all, they began far from the roots, so already at one month out from the appointment, it looks more like 2-2.5 months, and that I need re-highlighting. I had to go to another salon to get a full head of lowlights to achieve a more believable and flattering blond color. I've never written an online review before, but wanted to save someone else from having this happen to them! Plus, it was expensive!!-- I was charged Manhattan salon prices for highlighting-- AND a surcharge for using a credit card. That is absolutely unheard of-- I've never had that happen in any other nice salon in the U.S.-- and was sort of the last straw for me, driving me to post this review.
