A showcase for the brilliant jewelry of this store's extremely talented namesake.. The Scene Inspired by African beads, her father's own jewelry designs and ancient ethnic art from local museums, Debbie Fisher is one of the brightest jewelry designers around.
The Goods Fisher doesn't necessarily think that bigger is better, as most jewelry designers do, and she crafts necklaces, rings and earrings out of delicate precious stones, silver and gold. Teeny drop earrings made with 18K gold and fire opals cost about $150 and beautiful necklaces made of silver beads, moonstones, mother of pearl and various opals range from $130-$200. And just because Debbie Fisher is an accomplished jewelry designer doesn't mean that the store is all about jewels. Her Smith Street boutique also stocks her favorite things: beautiful candles, the perfect pair of delicate sandals and a cute handknit bandana.
