Eight years standing, Black Betty continues to attract an eclectic crowd with their daily lineup of live music including Brazilian Beat Sundays, Friday and Saturday night DJ's, and Reverand Vince Anderson and his Love Choir every Monday eve. Black Betty also serves a menu of Mediterranean flare with a falafel-platter entree (more than enough food for two), first-rate vegetarian offerings, and Moroccan-style couscous with spicy merguez, beef or chicken will appease carnivorous appetites. After dinner, cool your palate with a refreshing mojito, margarita, or Brooklyn Lager and retereat to the bar. Things will just be warming up.

I love the skirt steak salad with pomegranate dressing from here...so good! Lots of hummus and falafel type stuff. Not the best I've had but not bad. Cute place to have some drinks and food with friends!

black betty is perhaps the best kept secret of brooklyn, if not the whole city. if you are a true music fan and want to hear some great old school rap, funk and soul, this is the place. an eclectic crowd that isnt afriad to dance.

I come here often with friends for great greek food. We particularly love sitting outback when it's warm. I had the eggplant mouffasa and it was amazing.
