Tips for Pavilion Theatre

Lousy theater, lousy customer service. Went to this theater today, Columbus Day, expecting to see Trouble With The Curve which, according to the Daily News, was scheduled at 2 pm. A poster for the movie was on a wall to the left of the box office and it was listed on the marguis. At the box office I was told it was not playing. Even if I tried to call to confirm it would have been fruitless -- the phone was not answered.

Close this theater down. Close this theater down. I leave walking distance from there and will NEVER GO BACK. I went to a matinee, which should be $8 they charged $15 dollars because it was in 3D, I used my debt card or because it was President's day. I'm not sure which.

I called to complain and was hung up on by someone named Jerry. I was told on my second call that there was no Manager.

The worst part about this theater was the door to get in to the movie is right beside the screen, so if someone needs to use the bathroom or get popcorn its people coming and going the whole movie threw. Also it was so hot I could barley stand it.

This is the worst theater, it is small ruin down, over priced, and the staff is horrible.

I asked you my fellow Brooklyn neighbors do not support this. Other wise things will never change. The theater needs NEW MANAGEMENT or shut down.

Worst Movie Theather Ever!. I went there for the opening weekend of, Cowboys vs Alien's... Guess what on my birthday weekend I was in for a surprise, I was there to ask why I paid to watch a new movie on a wide screen TV! They take your money, tell you which theater it's in... And then you walk into a room that fits about 60-70 people to watch on a 100 inch screen! And please don't think your smart enough to get around this by simply asking for your money back, so knew this issue would come up so they implemented a no refund policy to make sure your money stays right where it is! When I asked why I could not receive a refund I was told by the manager that ever since these 2 Jews bought out the theater, this place has become horrible. We can give you a pass to another showing, but unfortunately that movie will only be playing in the small screen room and that's that! They would not give me a number to complain to cooperate at and gave me an email, pavillon@pavillon. com and my 2 passes, which I paid fully for to use in the small theater when I come around to it! THANKS FOR MAKING MY BIRTHDAY A MEMORABLE ONE!

filthy furniture. I've been in 4 different rooms in this theater in the last year, each one had a large amount of seats that were ripped, soiled, broken, stained, and just plain worn out. The plastic seat arms look like no one ever cleans them, ground in dirt there as well. I was there several times a couple of years ago and it wasn't nearly as bad, one gets the sense that management stopped spending money on upkeep. It's a great location, a historic looking building with a lot of charm and potential, it's a shame that it's being run into the ground. Four strikes and you're out, I won't go back there.

Could use a total renovation, or at least new seats and regular vacuuming.

Wouldn't be our first choice.... ... if it wasn't so local. You can't even purchase tickets in advance properly (as they have to be picked up in the counter, which means you still have to wait ON THE LINE!). Not overly clean, and some of the theaters are leaking rainwater (with seats covered up with plastic black garbage bags so as the patrons would know not to use them!)

Expensive, plus the stairs are tricky to navigate (the management should finally figure out they need to be leveled before a patron ends up killing themselves!)

Terrible!. This movie theater is terrible! I live so close to it, and have to go to other movie theaters, much further away. The chairs are filthy, and many are broken/roped-off. There are actually sections of chairs roped off because they are broken. The rooms smell, and there is a rumor of bed bugs. It is really a shame that the owners don;t maintain it - this movie theater is in a great neighborhood, and if it was clean, and played some non-mainstream movies, it can bring in a very large audience!

The Human Number!. Every number you find for the Pavilion leads you to an automated listing of the movie times for the day. The following number connects you to a person in case you need to ask them something, like if you lost your keys for instance ...

Tickets are cheaper online. The theatres and screens are a tad bit smaller than most other movie theatres. Prices are getting raised yearly. They often have projection delays and start 15 minutes late or giv eyour your money back. The pavilion is ok, a nice area, and the Connecticut Muffin on the next corner is delicious. The prices are quite dissappointing, so I order then online on Fandango. cheaper. and I hate climbling the stairs to the third floor, if you are unlucky enough to have a movie on that floor, it can sore out your feet.
